I never thought I would have to do this because I have been using this dealership for many years for both of my trucks but my truck had a check engine light come on and it was under warranty so I took it been using this dealership for many years for both of my trucks but my truck had a check engine light come on and it was under warranty so I took it to John megel Chevrolet to have it fixed they had my truck for almost 3 weeks to fix it which was fine because they had to get approval from the warranty company to do anything so it took time so whatever but my mom went and picked up the truck on Friday and drove it 20 minutes to her house and Keith went to pick it up from her house Saturday morning and drove 30 minutes from her house and the transmission started acting up so he pulled over to check it out and found that the truck was completely out of transmission fluid and that the part of the transmission that the dip stick goes into was broken in half and we took the truck back to John megel and they are now saying that they didn’t do anything and they aren’t going to fix it when this truck had no issues with the transmission before it went to them and now I’m going to have to either rebuild the transmission or buy a new one and when my boyfriend Keith called them it says on their report they did an inspection on the vehicle he asked if that included fluids and they said yes and he asked if that included transmission fluid they said oh I guess we forgot to check that one!!!! So I’m a very unhappy girl at the moment!!! More

THEY ARE AS CROOKED AS THEY COME. WE PUT UP WITH THEIR CRAP FOR FAR TOO LONG. SERVICE ADVISORS ALWAYS PUSHING UNNECESSARY SERVICE TELLING US ITS MANUFACTURER RECOMMENDED BUT ITS NOT. SAYING MY ALIGNMENT WAS GOOD WHEN CLEARLY IT WASN’T. I PAID EXTRA TO HAVE UNLIMITED ALIGNMENTS AND TWICE WE TOOK IT THERE AND THEY SAID IT WAS GOOD… IT WASN’T. OUR TIRES WORE UNEVEN BECAUSE OF IT BEING MISS-ALIGNED BY JOHN MEGEL. THEY COMPLETELY BLEW US OFF AND GAVE US EXCUSES ON WHY THEY WERE NOT GOING TO REPLACE THE TIRE. I HAD TO GO ELSEWHERE FOR NEW TIRES BECAUSE THEY SAID THE TREAD LIFE WARRANTY WOULD NOT COVER A REPLACEMENT. NOT TRUE! THE LAST SERVICE WE WENT THERE, IT WAS FOR AN ALIGNMENT AND AN OIL CHANGE. IT TOOK THEM 2 DAYS AND IT HAD NOT EVEN BEEN STARTED AND THEY WERE REQUESTING THE RENTAL BACK. WHO DOES THAT??? NO PHONE CALLS TO UPDATE US ON THE STATUS OF THE VEHICLE… NOTHING… THIS IS THE MAIN REASON TO STAY AWAY… WE STOPPED GOING TO JOHN MEGEL CHEVY A WHILE BACK BECAUSE OF ALL THE HASSLE WE GO THROUGH EVERY TIME. NOW WE ARE ALMOST AT THE END OF OUR EXTENDED WARRANTY AND UNFORTUNATELY OUR TRANSMISSION NEEDS WORK WHICH WOULD BE COVERED UNDER THE EXTENDED WARRANTY SERVICE WE BOUGHT WHEN WE GOT THE CAR. THE PROBLEM IS THE ONLY PLACE WE CAN DO THE SERVICE IS AT JOHN MEGEL. I CALLED AND SPOKE TO SEVERAL PEOPLE BEFORE REACHING DUSTIN THE SERVICE MANAGER. I LET HIM KNOW THE SITUATION THAT WE REFUSE TO COME BACK FOR SERVICE AND ASKED IF THEY CAN CONTACT THE EXTENDED WARRANTY SERVICE COMPANY TO ALLOW US TO SERVICE OUR VEHICLE ELSEWHERE WITHIN THE 40 MILE RESTRICTION. YES, THAT’S RIGHT… AS LONG AS YOU LIVE WITHIN 40 MILES OF THIS xxxx HOLE, YOU WILL HAVE TO KEEP BRINGING IT BACK FOR SERVICE UNLESS YOU TRAVEL OUTSIDE THIS 40 MILE ZONE OR IT WOULD NOT BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. DUSTIN WAS TRYING REALLY HARD TO “BUILD VALUE” IN JOHN MEGEL. UNFORTUNATELY, THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN SAY DUSTIN ABOUT THAT PLACE THAT WOULD CHANGE MY MIND. THE SERVICE ADVISORS ARE TRASH AND APPARENTLY SO IS THE SERVICE MANAGER. I GUESS THE APPLES DON’T FALL FAR FROM THE TREE DUSTIN. LONG STORY SHORT, DUSTIN REFUSED TO HELP US GET SERVICE AT ANOTHER DEALERSHIP (RICK HENDRICK IN BUFORD) BECAUSE DEALERSHIPS GET MONEY FOR DOING WARRANTY WORK AND THOSE GREEDY JERKS WOULD RATHER TAKE THE MONEY THAN DO THE RIGHT THING AND TAKE CARE OF THE CUSTOMER. DESPITE WHAT THEIR REPLIES SAY IN THE REVIEWS, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT THEIR #1 PRIORITY. IF THAT WAS THE CASE, THEY WOULD JUST GIVE THE OK FOR US TO DO SERVICE ELSEWHERE. DO YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CAR? DO YOU WANT PIECE OF MIND? DO YOU WANT TO MAKE SURE YOUR SERVICE IS ACTUALLY BEING DONE? THEN AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. Will not stand behind their vehicles. Purchased a $27k vehicle, 2 WEEKS later the check engine light came on, struts started making a horrible noise and the transmission started leaking. I had this dealership check my alignment and was told it was needed, I asked them to proceed with the work. When my son picked up the car they charged him for the alignment and told him that they could not was needed, I asked them to proceed with the work. When my son picked up the car they charged him for the alignment and told him that they could not get it completely in spec and that he should take it someone else to have it finished because they could not do the work needed. It does not make sense for them to charge for work that they did not complete. I am very disappointed and will be taken action to get this resolved. BUYER BEWARE. More

Camaro LS Stereo/Control Unit Failure While I don't blame John Megle Chevrolet directly, my 2015 Chevy Camaro LS has only 45,000 miles on it and is thoroughly maintained. A month ago, my While I don't blame John Megle Chevrolet directly, my 2015 Chevy Camaro LS has only 45,000 miles on it and is thoroughly maintained. A month ago, my stero unit began cutting on and off in all modes including XM. At the same time, the lights on the screen and the temperature control knobs also began flashing. I began looking into this issue and have found that the LS models with the basic stereo systems have had this problem since 2011. My question is why GM has knowingly continued to install these systems despite the complaints. This is the stuff of fraud, greed and class action lawsuits. I've been buying GM products for 30 years. I own an auto repair shop. I've seen the other issues GM is having with stabilitrack and traction control systems on vehicles like the Chevy Traverse. GM seems unwilling to do anything about their FAILURES. I am finished with buying Chevy products and will advise my customers of the growing number of issues this company and its dealers are having. I left a voicemail with a sales manager and spoke to someone in service. Never heard back from the manager, and the service advisor had no idea what I was talking about with the Camaro systems. More

One of them went and removed a fog lamp from a new suburban on their lot to replace mine just so I they could get me fixed the day I brought it in. More
Accident waiting to happen I bought a2017 Chevrolet traverse and a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado and I have only had the truck for 8 months I do use this truck for my work so I do pu I bought a2017 Chevrolet traverse and a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado and I have only had the truck for 8 months I do use this truck for my work so I do put a lot of miles on it but when I made the appointment for some warranty issues it was still under warranty they just couldn't get my truck looked at but when I did get there they wouldn't warrant anything, now the truck is only 8 months and the dash is making noise, the radio doesn't work half the time the driver seat is ripped at the seam and the transmission doesn't shift right and when I was there I told them that I replaced the brake pads because they was making a noise and the driver side was completely gone and the passenger side looked brand new, they then told me that they have a bulletin on the brake pads and rotors that they would replace them if I had the old pads if I didn't have them I was on my own, so I guess they done care about there customers because they are putting my life at risk . I can tell you this I will not ever buy another Chevrolet and I am selling my 2 brand new Chevrolets just because they are junk . And they could care less about there customers, I guess they just want your money and then your on your own, I did try to contact the general manager for the last 4 days and he still hasn't returned a call More
