Not covering warranty work I bought a 2014 Z71 Silverado brand new a few years ago. About 8 months after buying it my computer fried and luckily it was covered under warranty so I bought a 2014 Z71 Silverado brand new a few years ago. About 8 months after buying it my computer fried and luckily it was covered under warranty so I didn't have to pay anything for it to be replaced. At the time I didn't bring my key fob with me to be reprogrammed and recently just found it. I called earlier to see if I could get it reprogrammed, thinking it would be covered under warranty seeing as how it wouldn't need to be reprogrammed if the computer (which was under warranty) didn't fry. I was told "It's normally $75 but well cut you a deal for $37.50". This isn't the first problem I've had with service. I brought my truck for a fuel sensor that had went bad (out of warranty) and left it for what I was told would be a next day thing. I didn't receive a call the next day and finally around lunch the day after I called and was told my truck would be ready in an hour. So I went to pick up my truck, pay my bill, and get my keys only to come to find my truck covered in dirt and dust, the plastic wrapping they used to cover the seats and the floor mat crumpled and thrown in the back seat of my truck. I didn't think anything of it until I got home and hosed my truck off. I looked in the bed of my truck and saw my Yeti cooler (that I keep chained in my truck) covered in oily finger prints inside and out. I could understand the dust seeing as how all of the construction was being done around there, maybe even the plastic wrap, but digging into someone's personal belongings you have no business digging into is uncalled for. They wouldn't leave a $100,000 Corvette in that condition. Once I get my keyfob reprogrammed John Megel will never see me step foot on their property again. More

My 2014 Chevy Silverado takes 5W 30 dextrose oil which gets oil changes every 5000 miles since I had it with 3 miles on it. When I got my truck they had written 3000 miles for next oil change on oil sticker when I asked them why they said the owner told them to obviously so that you get unnecessary oil changes earlier than you need to More

Service department I had an appointment for a few repairs on my impala . I arrived 10 minutes prior to scheduled appointment 10am . At the time I called to make the appointment, I was told it would take approximately 2 hours . I called at 130 to get the progress of the repairs just to be told it has not even gone into the shop yet. I received a call about 330 saying my car was ready but only 1 repair was done because they didn't have parts for the other repairs ,which was suppose to be order prior to the appointment , that's why I made the appointment to give them time to get the parts in . I was not happy to say the least . I will never deal with this dealership again and would never recommend them to anyone , I only rated this a 1 because I had to leave a review More

Our famiy had been searching for a new family car for about a year. I actually started out looking for a different car. I had not even considered a Chevy. I happened to be watching the news one night about a year. I actually started out looking for a different car. I had not even considered a Chevy. I happened to be watching the news one night and saw a commercial for a Chevy Malibu and started looking at them on the internet. I came across the mocha color and like that one and then fell in love with the cashmire and cocoa interior. We went to the Chevrolet website and did a search. We found three dealerships with the car that I wanted. Two of them were within 10 miles of our home. John Megel was about 30 miles away. We went to the first one on a Sunday, walked around the car lot for about an hour looked at the Malibu and then strolled over to the Cruze for our daughter to "dream" No one approached us,no salesman. We just left and came on home. We decided to contact John Megel about the Malibu they had on the lot. Sent an internet inquiry and received a reply that night. Called the dealership the next day, got the "final offer" After talking to my husband, we decided to go look at the car. Called Dan and asked him if we could come that night. Told him it would be around 7pm since my husband worked in Atlanta. He told us to come on. We got there at 7pm, took the car for a test drive and bought it. Dan asked who the car was for and my husband told him that it was for me and Dan made sure that I was satisfied with everything. He took the time to help me set up my Onstar and my bluetooth, even though the dealership was closed by that time. He never once talked over me to my husband,never rushed me and made sure that he directed his questions to me and answering even the ones that I thought sounded dumb. When the time comes for us to purchase our daughter another car, I am most definately buying another car from Dan. More
I was traveling through Northern Georgia when my 2006 Malibu broke down. It was towed to John Megel Chevrolet. I thought is would be overnight before repairs were made but thanks to the Service Dept. a Malibu broke down. It was towed to John Megel Chevrolet. I thought is would be overnight before repairs were made but thanks to the Service Dept. and Parts Dept. the repair was made within a few hours with minimal expense.
