Sir my name is Dustin Seay. I am the Service Manager at John Megel Chevrolet. I am responding to your review first to apologize that you feel this way about our service. Second I would like to take a moment to share the dealers side. We performed a warranty repair a little over 2 years ago and at that time you only had one remote for us to program. The process of programming a remote involves a laptop to sync the remote and the vehicle. A few days ago you called and asked us to program the other remote under warranty. At this point your vehicle is no longer under warranty. So I thought it was fair to both parties to do the repair at half my normal cost for you. That's 37.50. If you would like to discuss this in the future please call or email me. I am more than happy to work with everyone of my customers to make and keep them happy.

Hi Chase, I am sorry to hear that you had to wait. It sounds like time expectations may have not been clearly presented to you when the additional work was added to your appointment. I have brought this up with our Service Manager and he is reviewing what is to be expected with the advisors. Our standard oil change and tire rotation with an appointment is not to exceed more than 1 hour. With that being said, the recall that was done on your vehicle is what caused the extra hour of time. As for the oil change sticker--the reason we put the 3000 miles on there is to ensure that the customer does not exceed the recommended mileage limit. It's more of a "safety net" to prevent engine damage. They do it on my Cruze also. Best, Alex
