I’m sure they are very nice to you when you buy a new car, HOWEVER, if you want to get it serviced, be prepared for a nightmare… After switching from Glanzman, for over filling my oil and deflating my ti car, HOWEVER, if you want to get it serviced, be prepared for a nightmare… After switching from Glanzman, for over filling my oil and deflating my tires on more than three occasions, Kennedy Subaru confirms the awful service received at Subaru authorized service centers. Two WEEKs after I dropped my Subaru off for an Oil Change, third windshield replacement in a year, and an estimate for minor dents, I pick up my car, paying $600 for a new windshield, and there is a huge crack in the windshield. The fact that after two weeks, me calling at least 6 times, given the run around, they lost my car for a while, they have someone drive out to come pick up their car at 8pm on a Friday and they release it to me not noticing there is a huge crack in the $600 new windshield??? The GM demanded to speak to me at 8pm on a Friday and they would not let me leave with my car until we “figured something out”. It’s been another two weeks and I have yet to receive a call nor a reimbursement for my $600 broken windshield. DO NOT give these negligent thieves your money!!!! More
We had several serious warning lights appear upon the startup of our 2016 Subaru Legacy recently, just after leaving our hotel at Plymouth Meeting, PA (we were on a trip back to our home west of Harrisbu startup of our 2016 Subaru Legacy recently, just after leaving our hotel at Plymouth Meeting, PA (we were on a trip back to our home west of Harrisburg). The first thing I did was to see where the nearest Subaru dealer was located. Fortunately, John Kennedy Subaru was very close. So, we took our car over there. We were greeted by Mr. Chuck Lynn, a service advisor. When we explained to him our problem, he told us to pull our car into the indoor "processing location". He then quickly attached a testing "tool" to our car, and then, after reading the results, he asked us if we had filled up our gas tank recently. Well, we did fill up our car in New Jersey two days previously. He said, "it looks like your gas cap was not put back on afterwards." And, sure enough, that was the problem! Chuck quickly cleared the in dash warning lights. Chuck was so professional and friendly in helping us get on our way again. I just want to thank John Kennedy Plymouth Meeting Subaru for having a great facility and staff, and in particular to thank Chuck Lynn for his professional and friendly service. And a warning...whenever you fill up with gas in New Jersey, be sure to personally check that your gas cap has been put back on properly! More

I'm always anxious around car purchasing because I'm very distrustful (with good reason) of car salespeople and dealerships. I was placed with Rob Wiltshire who was, by far, the best person to work with out distrustful (with good reason) of car salespeople and dealerships. I was placed with Rob Wiltshire who was, by far, the best person to work with out of any of the dealerships I visited in my search. Unfortunately , John Kennedy Subaru was by far the most expensive of any place I visited, and offered the lowest for my trade-in by $2,000. I ended up saving $100 per month by going somewhere else. I wish it had worked out with Rob, but I'm glad I shopped around. More
I like to commend Service Advisor Fernando Cano for his excellent attention to details. We have two Subaru vehicles: an Outback 3.6R and Forester Turbo, both received great auto care from John Kennedy. excellent attention to details. All our concerns were entered in the computer permitting the technicians to better isolate the issues. In addition, Advisor Cano has a professional image, trustworthiness and very patient while performing his duties. We do not mind to pay more money at dealerships because they do a better job than Firestone or Pep Boys. Last, the repaired car is washed and cleaned. Good Job and thank you! I’ll admit it, I hate buying a car because I detest all the games they play. I think I’ve had every trick in the book used on me by every dealer I’ve ever dealt with. So I’m admittedly jaded. But this was the games they play. I think I’ve had every trick in the book used on me by every dealer I’ve ever dealt with. So I’m admittedly jaded. But this was not my usual experience. I contacted Kennedy online about an in stock car. They responded right back and after negotiating a price, transferred me to sales where Rob Wiltshire waited on us. He was polite and professional. I filled out the financing forms online from home. I sent them photos of our drivers licenses and proof of insurance. After a few hours, Rob called us back with the financing approval. We came in to check out the car and everything looked good. We test drove the car which was all “prepped” and waiting for us, we signed all the forms in an office with a plastic divide and we were on our way in an hour. It was the way every auto sale should go. They didn’t try to switch the price. It was the car model we asked for. We didn’t have to wait hours while they “prepped” the car. They didn’t use scare tactics concerning the extended warranty. They didn’t have us wait endless hours for the supposed “talks” with the manager. And best of all, they didn’t play games with the financing. It was 0% as advertised and all the numbers were as expected. No phantom extra charges or mystery addition. We’re in shock. It’s a first for us. If they pulled a slick one on us, we can’t figure it out. It appears that they are an honest, professional dealership. Who knew that that even existed? Kudos to them and yes, for the first time ever, I highly recommend them. More
