Had vehicle brought into dealership for warranty repair work. Work was completed in a timely manner. Shortly there after the vehicle began to run rough, stall etc. Vehicle was returned to the dealership fo work. Work was completed in a timely manner. Shortly there after the vehicle began to run rough, stall etc. Vehicle was returned to the dealership for repairs. Service department called and said the vehicle needed a new electrical part. Cost of part and labor estimated to be in excess of $600.00. Had vehicle removed from dealership and taken to another location for diagnosis. Other repair shop found a loose connection on the electrical part. The electrical part test fine. Kennedy Ford attempted to charge customer for an unnecessary repair. They stated the vehicle needed a new part when there was nothing wrong with the old part. More
This dealership is probably fine if you are looking for a new car. they were friendly and willing to work with me. however, little did i know i was getting played. They sold me a car that about 6 weeks late new car. they were friendly and willing to work with me. however, little did i know i was getting played. They sold me a car that about 6 weeks later needed repairs costing about $3600. i have since then put in about an additional $1000 and have only had the car for about 6 months. When i called and told them about all the problems i was having, they told me "it's not our fault you didn't purchase an extended warranty". now that the vehicle is in the condition it should have been when i bought it, it runs fine, but as i dig deeper and swap out factory parts for high performance parts the problems and cost keep piling up. Any mechanic with half a brain could have found the problems that it had. If you are in the market for a used car, avoid this place like the plague. they are dishonest to say the least. More
