Truck was delivered on Friday February 14th. Called Monday morning to check status and was told engine would turn over. Asked about a loaner and was told they would have one available. Showed up Monday evening and was told they could one in a couple of days. Since this is my only vehicle I was a little mad. Then I asked how long it would be in shop and they told me that was a good question and they had no idea. I asked how I was supposed to get to work and I was told to borrow one. I didn’t find it funny. Carter Chevrolet sent tow truck to pick up vehicle and had me in a loaner same day. Needless to say you could learn a little bit from them. More
Service department was easy to contact and schedule service. The service was done just as promised and on schedule. Shannon Crawford was our Service Advisor and she was great! John Holt Chevrolet fixed a speedometer problem on my 2017 1500 Silverado at NO charge. Merit GMC in Duncan charged me around $2,000 to replace a drive axle and parts for my speedometer which was not fix 2017 1500 Silverado at NO charge. Ten days ago I was promised by the John Holt dealer that they would take care of me. I drove 9 hours to buy a brand new 2025 Chevy 1500 Trailboss from John Holt dealership. When I arrived, they took my trad they would take care of me. I drove 9 hours to buy a brand new 2025 Chevy 1500 Trailboss from John Holt dealership. When I arrived, they took my trade in pickup and proceeded to switch over my tonneau cover onto my new pickup and then washed up the new pickup for me. I did not get to see my new 2025 pickup until after I had already signed all the paperwork. I had previously told the finance manager that I needed to make the exchange as quickly as possible that morning as I had another appt I needed to get to that day. He said the process would only take 15-20 minutes. It did not. It took over 2 hours. After doing the necessary paperwork, I began to exchange my personal items from my trade in to my new pickup. I shook hands with the salesman and commented I had to go as I was now running late. Hours later I find that there is a dent in the front of my new pickup on the front of the hood. I contacted said dealership and immediately told them about it and sent previous pics from salesman proving that the dent was there after blowing up the pics before I purchased new pickup. John Holt Chevy offered me $200 cash to take care of dent. I got it appraised at $1214 to fix and now since sending them the quote they will not respond to me at all. The General Manager nor John Holt himself refuse to contact me on this manner! This is not how you take care of a customer! More
