I am probably the most cycnical car buyer there is. I've had bad experiences and I do my homework. I know invoice prices and I shop around. I've got to say my best expeience ever was at Tri County. I probab had bad experiences and I do my homework. I know invoice prices and I shop around. I've got to say my best expeience ever was at Tri County. I probably came off as defensive but Brad didn't ask me about buying a car first, he offered me a snack or beverage. I didn't get stampeded by salemen before I stepped out of my car. I bought a new Ram truck and absolutely the best price. I was particularly impressed with Tri County's comittment to non profits in the community. Everywhere in the dealership are logos and photos touting their giving spirit and appreciation of the Heath community. More

I have shopped around at many dealerships and this one is by far the best all around dealership I have seen. I would recommend it to anyone looking to buy a vehicle. From the moment I walked into the showroom everyone was really friendly and I didn't feel any pressure to buy. Although I didn't make my purchase that day I will definitely return to Tri County when I am ready to buy! I would highly recommend the dealership. More

From the moment I walked into the dealership I knew I was in the right place to purchase my next car. The showroom tells just how devoted these folks are to their community and then I found out a portion in the right place to purchase my next car. The showroom tells just how devoted these folks are to their community and then I found out a portion of my purchase goes directly into helping local sick kids, rescuing animals and feeding the hungry. WOW, that's dedication! Mike greeted me warmly and immediately went to work from me. When they did not have the exact car I was looking for in stock, they found it and delivered it at a price I could afford. Everyone made this the easiest car purchase I have ever made, from Mike to financing to detailing to the maintenance staff, their customer service was impressive. I plan to be a Tri-County customer from now on. Thank you all!!! Jeffrey D. More
My husband and I visited Tri-County back in March of 2010 to shop for a new or used 4x4. We told the salesman (Dave Moore) that we needed to trade two of our vehicles toward a newer one to reduce our monthly to shop for a new or used 4x4. We told the salesman (Dave Moore) that we needed to trade two of our vehicles toward a newer one to reduce our monthly payments. I wanted an SUV with a third row seat, but Tri-County did not have the vehicle we wanted. A few days later, Dave called me and said that he had a brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee on the lot with a huge rebate offer from Chrylser. He said it was the only car he could sell me to reach my monthly payment goal. It did not have a third row seat but I thought it would be worth a look. So I drove 45 minutes to Heath to look at the car. My husband was out of town so I did not even think I would be buying the vehicle. Dave was waiting for me at the door when I showed up. He showed me the Jeep and I was happy with the look of it. We took it for a test drive and the vehicle ran very smoothly. It was fully loaded and I couldn't help wondering what the catch was. Dave kept asking me what I wanted my monthly payment to be. I told Dave that I couldn't make a purchase without my husband. He told me that the rebate offer on the Jeep only lasted for a couple more days. If I filled out part of the contract, they would fed-ex the paperwork to my husband to expedite the sale. I discussed it over the phone with my husband and he told me that since we had a Jeep for 10 years, he felt comfortable purchasing a new one with a 5 year warranty. I told Dave I would come back in the morning to sign the paperwork because I was in a huge hurry to get to an Easter dinner back in Mt. Vernon. Dave assured me it would only take 30 minutes to sign the papers. I decided to risk it so I wouldn't have to drive back. Mark Hay was the loan officer that day. After glancing at the paperwork, I questioned why the total purchase agreement of the loan seemed so high. Mark said he would adjust it when my husband filled out his part of the contract and sent it back before the rebate offer expired. I left with the Jeep but no paperwork that day. My husband received the contract the next day in Tennessee. He was baffled that some of the papers were left blank. Fortunately, he photocopied his papers before he sent them back to Tri-County. About a week later, we received the contract and the title memorandum in the mail. My husband immediately noticed that the purchase price on the memorandum did not make sense with the numbers on the contract. We then noticed that Mark Hay did not give us the trade-in value we were promised on our two trade-ins. He actually rolled the entire amount of our loans onto our Jeep loan! We contacted Mark and he admitted that he made an error on our contract. He told us that he would contact his general manager to see how we could correct the problem. WEEKS went by and we kept calling and leaving messages with Tri-County. Finally, my husband drove down to Heath to talk to Mark personally. Mark told him that we should not have signed the contract if we weren't happy with the deal and there was nothing more he could do for us. My husband had a few choice words for Mark as well. Since then, we have contacted the BBB and have a mediation session scheduled for the end of July. We have also filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office (apparently, 38 other people have also filed complaints about Tri-County). We will never go back, or have service work done at this dealer in the future. I will also never recommend Tri-County to anyone I know. More
I have owned 4 Chrysler/Jeep products. This dealership is HORRIBLE! We have had extrememly unprofessional service from this dealership. After meeting with the owner...I now understand why this dealership is HORRIBLE! We have had extrememly unprofessional service from this dealership. After meeting with the owner...I now understand why this dealership is shoddy. I will NEVER return to them again! I would rather travel to New Albany or Columbus for service. I cannot understand how Tri County was able to keep their dealership when the gov't took over Chrysler/Jeep...Obviously it wasn't based on performance! More
I went to their used lot "valueville" in hopes of rebuilding my credit and purchasing a nice vehicle with a large downpayment. They were very eager to assist me and rushed all of the necessary paperwo rebuilding my credit and purchasing a nice vehicle with a large downpayment. They were very eager to assist me and rushed all of the necessary paperwork and got me approved for a loan. The loan was for 10,000 on a 2004 gmc envoy. It had high mileage but was in excellent shape.(so it appeared) we test drove it and checked things and it ran like a new car. All of the extras work excellent, and we were impressed. We drove off of the lot only for 3 days later to have a "Service 4 wheel drive light" come on. We called them and they told us not to worry it was probaly jsut a sensor. so we dealt with it like well it was used as is with no warranty, we will fix it eventually. Three days go by and we hear a loud tap,tap noise in the motor. We immediately drove it there and they got Billy our loan guy, who came out and spoke with my husband and told him he heard that noise, but it was just and i quote " fuel in the oil" my husband told him that didnt even make sense, and we had only had the vehicle for less than a week... Billy said"(as he walked away from us): I dont know what to tell ya, its as is, used cant help ya, send me some customers though and I can send you some gas cards". After NUMEROUS phone calls trying to reach the person in charge out there, I finally spoke with a manager who told us to bring it out to the service center for them to check it out..service center hands my husband an estimate,,, its in the transmission!! He says he will submit the estimate too billy, who would be the one to decide if they would fix it.. 4 days later NO PHONE CALL< NO NOTHING! I called them today and demanded to talk to the person in charge of the whole TRI COUNTY ORGANZIATION and got connected to the general manager who was not rude, however was aggravated that i would not stop being persisent about this!! He told me to just bring the car back, and they would refund me my downpayment and pay the loan company back. My husband and I went there and was directed to an office where a lady named mychelle had the paperwork drawn up, handed us our check and we signed a paper, and left! No one apologized to us, tryed to help us find another vehicle nor wanted to attempt to fix the major problem this wone had! We were very upset and dissappointed with Tri-County. They are rude, and ignorant and they sell JUNK for too much money! I will never deal with them again, and I recoomend that no one else go through what I did. I went to Coughlin Automotive in Newark, and after hearing what we went through, he was more than happy too assist us with financing as well as putting us in a good quality vehicle for half the price. Tri-County has NO people skills or conscious! NOT ONE EMPLOYYE THERE WAS NICE OR HELPFUL! AND THE SALES MANAGER BILLY WAS A RUDE< ARROGANT PERSON! More

I was On August 8th of 2009 I went to Tri County Chrysler to get an extended service plan on a 2006 Chrysler Sebring that I had recently purchased. I was directed to Mark Hay. I explained to him that I had been recieving "after market" offers for an extended warranty plan and that I wanted a factory plan. He said "Okay". Showed me several different options with time, price, etc. plans. I chose a 48/75,000 plan for the price of $1638. I went back to the dealership the next day and paid via debit card the full price. Then in October sometime, my wife took the car to Byers Chrysler to get some work done and showed the paperwork that Mr Hay had given us. When the service writer looked up the vin, it came back as not covered by Chrysler. So naturally I tried to contact Mr Hay to find out what the deal was. After many calls to him and others at the dealership regarding our situation, we finally learned that a company named Zurich was the party that had issued us the plan. They have nothing to do with Chrysler what-so-ever. Mr Hay even admitted to me that Tri County does not have a Chrysler service plan. He led us to believe that that is what we were getting. I asked for a refund due to the fact that that Zurich is not what I was told I was paying for. I did get a refund, minus $96.40, for the time that they had us covered. Had Mr Hay had contacted me more promptly, the refund probably would have been more. We never had a claim on them. I really don't have a problem with them but I do have 1 with Mr Hay. The form he gave me has the Tri County Chrysler Products in the upper left hand corner. It has the vin, coverage, price, etc. above a line in bold faced type that states "Acknowledgement of Availability of Vechicle Service Coverage". Below that is 2 boxes with an option to either 'apply for or decline Vechicle Service Contract Coverage'. Neither box is checked. I did sign below these boxes on the line that says, 'Signature of Vechicle Purchaser'. Was this form used to make Zurich believe that Tri County had actually sold me the vechicle? This whole transaction is questionable, to say the least, as to it's legality, purpose, value, & moral well-being. More
