They have absolutely no idea after 6 months that they will ever be able to sell me a car. I am giving 1 star rating since I cannot give a zero star rating. Unless they have the car in their stock ... will ever be able to sell me a car. I am giving 1 star rating since I cannot give a zero star rating. Unless they have the car in their stock ... do not ever expect them to be able to deliver a car. More

This is by far the worst dealership I have ever had to deal with. I took my Wife’s 2017 Chevy impala, crank , no start to local trusted mechanic. He informed me that it was the fuel control module for thi deal with. I took my Wife’s 2017 Chevy impala, crank , no start to local trusted mechanic. He informed me that it was the fuel control module for this vehicle that was not responsive, and he could change the part but Only a dealer could program the part. I found a few companies that said they would Program it. I then called John Hiester , Chevrolet. The people at the parts counter told me the part the diagnostic tools were telling them was defective, did not exist???? Made no attempt to figure it out. Turns out all of the mobile companies for programming Even though they initially said, they could do it , they would call later with the same information , dealer only repair. Now, after the horrible parts experience, Because Fuquay was closer than Apex and I was towing the “dealer only “ repair vehicle AGAIN. I took the car to Fuquay , John Hiester Chevrolet , asked them to program the module. The towing company said it would be $85 and I could take care of it with the dealer. I informed Mark , the service manager , of the issue and requested they Program it quickly because All the money and towing, needed to make sure I was at the end of the experience. Programming this module should take about 10 minutes. Four days before they called back. They did not know where the part was located in the vehicle, or where or how to program it. I , being a master technician, informed him where the part was located and how to program it. They then called back hours later and informed me they programmed it. The car didn’t run when it was dropped off and it still did not run and it was ready for pickup. ?????????? I informed Mark that a correctly programed module in a car that does not run is not anything I can deal with. I need to know what is wrong with the vehicle. Confidence is obviously as low as it can be , after having to walk them through the repair. I informed Mark that I was happy to pay the diagnostic but he would have to stand behind whatever his diagnostic would be. And Give me all the technical info on what part was defective. I would not accept a bad fuel pump. I would accept fuel pump, locked up LRA, open windings in fuel pump. I would need enough information to know that he was correct, and not just guessing. At this point , when Mark knew he would be held accountable for his work. He said, the Chevy dealer, John Hiester Chevrolet would not stand behind their diagnostic and would not even do it , knowing that he would be held accountable. That I would have to come and tow the DEALER ONLY repair vehicle to another dealer that was more capable. So now I have to tow the car to a real Chevy dealer in Apex . Hendrick Chevrolet. I asked Mark what was owed so I could get the car out of his disastrous service department. He informed me that it would be $338. I had already got the quote before I brought it in at $170. I let him know I would not be paying double his original quote . Then they informed me that also included the towing charge that was previously quoted at $85. because I never make a move until I know how much it’s gonna cost upfront. Also, something Mark and guessing technicians do not like. I’m actually good at math and $170 +$85 equals $ 255. I guess Mark just added the extra $70 for his continuing education , I hope. When I went into pay the bill that should have been $273.48. Before they would release my vehicle they wanted $296.43 math off again with these people. Turns out they charged me $20.51 for shop supplies for absolutely nothing. What supplies do you need to plug in the computer? So I went to pay them so I could get my car to a real dealer. I went to try the car and battery was completely dead. Keyless automobile turned off incorrectly by service. Chevy should be ashamed of themselves for putting out equipment that cannot be fixed , except at an extremely capable dealer. John Hiester Chevrolet is clearly not one of those. More
