certified pre-owned truck with 6000 miles Just picked up this truck from service for the 3rd time in a month, once again it's not fixed, I can not stess enough, how many chances do I give them Just picked up this truck from service for the 3rd time in a month, once again it's not fixed, I can not stess enough, how many chances do I give them an opportunity to "make it right". Cherping in left front. They diagnosed noise was in the right rear. They said they were going to machine the RR rotor, I told them, DO NOT, the noise is not coming from that side. I dropped my truck off Monday morning first thing in the morning with bearing noise and a lack of power issue. I received a call at 3pm on Tuesday telling me about noise in the Right Rear and what they they were going to do to fix it. After telling them "DO NOT TOUCH that side your? diagnosis is incorrect I'll come pick up my truck and take it elsewhere, I explained to the service manager I'll take him for a ride when I pick it up to show where the noise is coming from. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle the service manager explained to me they had machined the right rear rotors and fixed the problem. We went for a ride... NO, same cherping noise and growling sound from left front. So not only did they not fix the truck, they machined a brake rotors that tows a 8000 lb. Toy hauler to minimum spec. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP, I have multiple situations like this in the last 14 months. When we pay $60000 for a vehicle, or $40000 for a different vehicle, $100000 in vehicles in a year from a car dealership, and over $2500 in services and repair. They could do a little better job. Or maybe just keep jerking you around. I guess I have a different out look on loyalty More

Thinking maybe it was ju This is my second certified pre-owned truck from this dealer, my first one had so many issues I traded it back to the dealer. Thinking maybe it was just a bad apple. After returning to the service department every two months for over a year and having to pay for repair work that was brought up prior to warranty expired, didn't get diagnosed correctly untill the warranty was up. Long story even longer I traded my 50000 mi truck on a 6000 mi truck. Two days later my almost new certified pre-owned truck had a bad ECM. A week after getting my truck back from service, my truck is back in the service department smoking black out the tail pipe and having lack of power issues. Certified pre-owned vehicle inspections are a joke at this dealership. Just another example: my oil change sticker is new but the computer was not reset did they really cange the oil. This new truck has after market parts that should have been noticed during it's inspection, but seem to be the main cause of the problems with the truck. Two trucks both with over looked issues. I gave this outfit many chances to keep my business, I could go on and on about sales, service, shady mechanics, employees not returning phone calls ect... Bottom line is this is basically abrand new truck that I paid top dollar for and the service department has had it longer than I have. Lori in customer service has been great, however my overall experience has been terrible. 2 trucks too many certified pre-owned issues. I believe one having problems ok stuff happens, but two and one with only 6000 mi, taking advantage of customers to make car sales, please be cautious with these sales people and service techs. Certified pre-owned to these people means bring it back every two weeks till it's out of warranty so we can charge you for repairs. Disappointed, John Elway is an icon in Denver his employees and business should reflect his greatness. More

Great Experience! My husband and I had a great experience with the team at John Elway, specifically Ellison and Zach, who helped us find the best vehicle for our family My husband and I had a great experience with the team at John Elway, specifically Ellison and Zach, who helped us find the best vehicle for our family and took the time to show us a lot of different options and prices. They were both very professional, knowledgeable, and patient with our questions, and being from Canada we had a lot of them since this was the first time buying a vehicle in the States. They really took the time to provide all the information so that we could make the best choice without feeling rushed or pressured, which we really appreciated. We have a 10 month old and a 2 year old as well, and they were equally as kind with our children, which goes a long way with parents. They provided toys to keep the boys occupied, which I felt went above and beyond, and the children's area at John Elway is also one of the best I've seen. We're so happy with our vehicle and the experience at this dealership. We can't thank them enough! More

I then asked if it was new, not a fleet vehicle, etc. I was again told it was. Drove over an hour to get there only to find out it had close to 4000 miles. I didnt bother test driving it and expressed my displeasure with being misled. I got a sorry and do you want to look at something else. I told the salesperson i was not interested in anything else and i would be going elsewhere and not interested in doing business with this dealership. This was approximately 3 weeks ago. Since then i have recieved close to 12 phone calls harassing me and requesting i call them back, even though i told them i would not buy from them. More
Horrible They cost me Hundreds of dollars I dropped my 2015 F-150 to get repaired after i was hit by another driver a month ago. John Elway quoted the insurance company a completion date of 10/05/16. My truck was not ready until 10/13/16. The insurance company stopped paying for the rental truck since they were told a completion date of 10/05/16. I started calling at 8am on 10/13 to verify my truck was ready and I never got a call back until 2pm that day saying they were trying to get my truck into the paint booth. Now how are you going to paint my truck the day it is supposed to be given back to me and have it returned to me on time. Needless to say they told me there was a new completion day of 10/11. I went down to the service center that day and my truck was still in pieces. The service department owes for the additional days on the rental truck and they are avoiding the situation like the plague. This department takes on more than it can handle and the customer has to pay for it. I recommend taking your vehicle anywhere but here!! More
Worst experience I have ever had at a delaership. I have a 2005 Corvette with 25,000 miles on it. My check engine light came on and I took it to this dealer for service. This service was performed i I have a 2005 Corvette with 25,000 miles on it. My check engine light came on and I took it to this dealer for service. This service was performed in the fall of 2014. This dealership has serviced the car since I got it (3,500 miles). I was told I needed a new throttle body. I questioned this because of the mileage and was assured "it sometimes happens". I got the car back several days later and after driving the car for about a half hour the check engine light came back on. I took it back in missing a half day of work. Then I was told it might be a faulty wiring harness that goes to the throttle body. After several more days I again got the car back and this time the check engine light did not come back on and it appeared that it had been fixed. It was late fall and I was getting ready to store the car for winter. I was concerned about the warranty on the work since there had been problems with them fixing it right the first time. I talked to the service manager who assured me they would stand behind their work even if it was outside the normal warranty period because the car was going into storage. The next spring I noticed my gas mileage had dropped 25 to 30 percent after the new throttle body was installed. I called and tried to speak to the service manager. Apparently he was gone and a new service manager had not been hired. I was directed to the assistant service manager Chris Cleavenger. I called and left voice messages three times in a 7 day period but he never called me back. I became very frustrated and tried to contact the general manger but a secretary directed me to the new service manger Todd Terry. I left a voice mail for him and when he did not call me back in a week I again tried to contact the general manager but was then directed again to the assistant service manager Chris Cleavenger. Again I left a voice mail and this time Cleavenger did call me back. Unfortunately I had stepped away from my desk so I called him right back and went to his voice mail. I asked that he call me back. He did not call me back so after 3 days I called him again and again left a voice mail. As of this date I still have not heard from anyone at this dealership. I filed a complaint with GM but again received no follow up. Needless to say I am now having the car serviced at another dealership and will never use or recommend John Elway Chevrolet to any one needing service on their vehicle. Worst experience I have ever had with a dealership. More

Melissa V worked exceedingly hard to find the perfect car for us and coordinated everyone together to make it a reality. She is amazing at smoothly working out details of this trade-in purchase and was so knowledgeable about everything on the car and showing us. The smooth work of the team made it a wonderful and exciting time! We also want to thank Tim (manager), Nathan (sales rep), Jake (finance), Chris V (service), Joe (tech), and the detail crew for their fine work! We have a beautiful car thanks to all of you! More

I told them exactly what I could and could not do and they made it work. I have a small baby and explained to Ellison I could not sit in the dealership for hours on end and he was able to do everything over the phone including my trade in assessment. When I did go in I only had to do paperwork, turn in my keys to my trade, and test drive my new car. Everyone at the dealership was super friendly and made sure that I was completely satisfied with the whole process. I would definitely refer anyone I know that is looking for a no hassle car deal! Spent hours working with Ellison via email and phone to submit details about trade etc. We live 90 minutes away so I wanted to see if we can make a deal remotely before driving 3 hours round trip. After wasting half a day, he says okay, come on down to test drive that convertible. I said I called about a black coupe. Oh, we sold that car last week. He cannot even keep track of what car I want to buy. Over the last month he has called me at least 6 times. He has called me to tell me he did not have a car to sell me. He called to tell me he had a car that did not match what I want. He cannot remember basic details and is constantly hassling me. Most unprofessional salesman I have ever dealt with and I never even made it into the building. Stay far far away!!! More
