I’m glad I didn’t waste 5-6hrs round trip driving to this dealership. I’m not going to blame the bad experience on Matthew the salesman personally, he responded in a timely manner and got the information I a dealership. I asked for a “out the door” price on a USED Jeep Wrangler that I found online. I want to say I have a pre-approval with rate and whatnot already locked in before contacting this dealer. I received a deal sheet that showed $4725.00 in “Dealer Added Accessories” on used vehicle. I asked what those add-ons were. I stated I didn’t want any extra packages/accessories added, just the listed price. He responded with another deal sheet with $2885.00 added onto the price. I again stated, I’m not interested if add-ons of any kind are added to the price of a USED VEHICLE. None of this stuff is worth the cost, I have windshield insurance, I’m 3 hours from your dealer so maintenance plans are not useful, and I’m not paying for interior protection, key fob replacement, nitrogen filled tires, and Lo-Jack. It’s absolutely ridiculous to add $4725.00 to the price of a used vehicle after a potential customer contacts you. NOTHING ON THEIR WEBSITE OR THE ONLINE LISTING STATES ANYWHERE THAT THIS WILL BE ADDED TO THE VEHICLE PRICE. Huge waste of time. He then finally came back with I can drop it $2000, which is still $1000 more than the listed price. He also said he could play with the rate, or find me a lower rate(which isn’t true, and can’t be done every time) I responded that wasn’t interested unless the price was as listed plus’s Tax, Title and license fees. He said that he wasn’t able to drop it anymore. So they lost a guaranteed customer, just to get some money for added crap that I didn’t want and they wouldn’t remove. Just wild to me. I can’t believe dealers are still attempting these scummy scam tactics on customers. More
