Great Service My appointment for an oil change and tire rotation were very smooth. I Also asked to have a small trim piece on the rear bumper replaced. Quick response and service! Everyone we’ve worked with purchasing TWO vehicles within 1 week (1 used & 1 brand new) has been amazing. My only complaint is I feel we didn’t get close to what our trade-in v purchasing TWO vehicles within 1 week (1 used & 1 brand new) has been amazing. My only complaint is I feel we didn’t get close to what our trade-in vehicle was worth. We obviously had it financed (with our credit union) and they’re VERY picky about financing no more than the value Of a vehicle. And when it came time to trade with Machens, we were offered less than HALF of what our credit union (and therefore our loan) was worth. Even according to the NADA guide online, under “rough trade” Machens valued it $4000 less than....our trade was in tip top condition just higher miles (which were factored in) it was FAR from “rough trade”. I would have liked for the sales manager to take into consideration we had JUST purchased a brand new vehicle 6 days prior to purchasing the used Suburban and given us more of a trade-in price than what was offered, but we felt as though we really needed to make the deal as it was offered. Don’t get me wrong, I love my Suburban, and don’t regret getting it. We felt a like we got a less than fair deal on it though, given our new vehicle purchase just days prior. Additionally, we’ve purchased 5 other vehicles from Machens dealerships over the years, and would have been nice to have a “repeat customer” credit or consideration factored in as well. More
