First phone call at which he was on the way out to a kids game and was willing to have someone meet me spoke volumes. Family first says a lot about a person and he was still able to do that and take care of client. I will defiantly recommend Glenn @ JM Jeep to anyone I run across. Finance person (cant remember name but have his card..lol) was excellent as well. New his products well and respected time constraint I was in. Total time to come and close everything was 1 to 1.25 hours. Awesome!! More
Don't buy here! My wife and I went to Joe Machens Jeep as my wife was wanting a Jeep and we had done business with Joe Machens Ford in both Columbia and Jefferson Cit My wife and I went to Joe Machens Jeep as my wife was wanting a Jeep and we had done business with Joe Machens Ford in both Columbia and Jefferson City with great results. We test drove a used 2017 Jeep Cherokee. While my wife was driving I read the owners manual and found that you could get a Cherokee with 4500 Lbs capacity tow rating. When we returned to the dealership, I explained to the salesman I would be interested in a Cherokee that could tow 4500lbs. He brought a new Jeep Cherokee out, and it had the 2" receiver and trailer light connections. We test drove it, seemed fine, made the deal, drove away a couple of hours later, without a second key or owners manual. They were promised to be in the mail, as well as a license plate from a trade. After waiting a week and a few un-returned phone calls, we returned to the dealership and were told they would be along in the mail. I managed to obtain the plate on the trade as it was never removed. Another week went by. after several un returned phone calls from the salesman, I spoke with a sales manager. He said he would check into the situation and get our key and owner manual to us. Another week went by. I called and spoke with a different sales manager. He said he would order a key and schedule an appointment for the next Saturday after the key came in so it could be programmed. After waiting another week, and finding out that the Jeep we were given by the salesman while having a tow package, it was a 4 cylinder with only a 2000lb rating, not the 4500lbs I had requested, I called and spoke with the sales manager again, he had forgotten about the situation. Said we could come up the next Saturday and have it programmed and get our owners manual. I had to work that Saturday, my wife drove ( it's 100 miles one way) up and while they sent to the service department, upon her checking in the sales manager comes into the service department with the original key he found in the original vehicle envelope, gave her the key, and sent her on her way, with NO OWNERS MANUAL. So now I have a 2017 Jeep Cherokee with a 2000lbs towing capacity and no owners manual. I feel ripped off in a HUGE way. and Oh, yeah, by the way, we were told they would cover the gas for the return trip, and yep, that was BS as well. If you EVER buy a Jeep, don't buy from Joe Machens! More
Absolute worst service ever Avoid these guys for Jeep service at all cost. I have had 2 of my Jeeps in for service and had similar, horrible service each time. Both times after having appointments, service took over 6 hours each time to even diagnose the problems. Maybe the mechanics are not well trained or they are just incompetent? The first visit, they never did get around to telling me the problem with the Jeep, just charged the diag fee and let me sit for hours until I couldn't take it any longer and just got the car back and left. Today was similar but after badgering them several times, they finally, after 7 hours, decided what the car needed. Of course I would never hire them or trust them to perform the repairs. Go someplace else if you want anything done. More

We were told it would be at our house in 7 to 10 days and it did not come until we had to repeatedly call and text for it. My son is graduating in 3 days and needless to say sitting at the DMV is not my idea of a way to spend my time right before a graduation. When we picked up the Jeep it had a low tire and all they did was put air in it. And ended up needing to be repaired. The customer service was beyond subpar. I called up to speak to a manager and then was put on hold for 15 minutes. Anyone that has a job knows that being on hold for 15 minutes can really eat up your day. There are many other things that were not professional at this dealership. We also haven't received our floor mats or are owners manual that we requested several weeks ago. The follow-through is not their strongest point. I do appreciate my car but the service was not great More
