They change numbers on the vehicle after you are interested . Wanted a price and they sent me the smoke and mirrors payment sheet with different fees on it . Sold me a nice 2022 Grand Cherokee at full price and offered a $500 coupon if purchased immediately. We ask about a trade in for our old Jeep, which we didn’t have with us, so they were going to send a offered a $500 coupon if purchased immediately. We ask about a trade in for our old Jeep, which we didn’t have with us, so they were going to send a driver to pick it up in a few days (200 mile trip) which they agreed to, but pulled the coupon offer. We purchased the 2022 immediately, but next day asked about not doing the trade in as we had a friend who wanted to buy our old Jeep. Machens group said okay, as they were not going to have to drive 200 miles round trip to pick it up…. But, they would NOT honor the $500 coupon that they originally offered with the full price payment. AND, we made a 2nd 200 mile round trip to deliver the cashier’s check (adjusted full payment) to them (without trade in) for purchase. BAD business!! More
Worst experience ever dealing with a dealership. Lied to from the get go, took the car to bank, approved for entire amount, took it by a shop to get a look over and they found the oil filter housing Lied to from the get go, took the car to bank, approved for entire amount, took it by a shop to get a look over and they found the oil filter housing was leaking & flex pipes for exhaust were going to have to be replaced SOON. Went back to dealership with estimate sheet of almost $1,000 and told them I'd take the vehicle if they took the $990 ($18,990) off the price & fix the issues. Salesman went to service department and came back with " we can't just take money off of a car that doesn't belong to us" (car was from another one of their lots) and "they would fix the issues". So I went ahead and purchased the vehicle believing they would stand by their word. This was August 5th. Car was to be done by August 8th, due to my vehicle had been totaled in an accident and I needed to get the rental returned. They called and told me the repairs had been made & "yay us" they found a wheel bearing bad and it would be $1,500!" I informed them I wasn't paying $1,500 to have one wheel bearing replaced and was it gold plated? Response was "they were eating the cost". Fast forward to Monday when I went to pick my car up, they refused to give me ANY paperwork showing simply what had been done & mileage when it was done. Told me "it'll be on your Carfax". So after I asked for the 2nd key to the car they told me it was at the other lot they pulled it from, and "would be sent out with my title". On August 10th I had a hard inquiry on my credit from said dealership, which I told them NOT to run as I was already approved thru my bank. So on August 11th I went to the shop I had it looked at prior to purchasing and hd them check if the repairs had actually been made since, the oil filter housing had been changed but not the flex pipes. I then went to the dealership and asked for the GM, was told it was his day off and spoke to Josh. I voiced my frustrations to him and was assured it would be done, they would have to order the parts & they would get my 2nd key sent down and he would print me out paperwork I had wanted to show repair work. I asked if he would let me know when the parts came in & please schedule me an appointment and I would wait with my car. Well, the parts came in, they wanted me to leave my car all day. I found another place to have them put on, why would I want a place that supposedly already fixed it, work on my vehicle???!!! This was the FIRST and LAST time I EVER buy from ANY McLarty Group owned dealership!! More

He was also able to answer all of my questions. We have not yet had the vehicle serviced, which is typically where our past issues have arisen, but the car purchasing process was great. More

We have had nothing but trouble trying to get our 2018 Ram diagnosed and repaired at this dealership. Every issue has taken multiple visits to address and then the truck comes back to us with a new proble Ram diagnosed and repaired at this dealership. Every issue has taken multiple visits to address and then the truck comes back to us with a new problem. The truck is 6 months old and has less than 25k miles on it and they want $120+ to diagnose an oil leak that started immediately after THEY did an oil change! The service department is poorly managed and there seems to be no concern for the customer’s time or the quality of work. I really hope this isn’t the norm for all CDJR service departments. At this point, I wouldn’t even trust them to wash my truck. More

I was told to bring it back so they could get pictures and would get if fixed. I was also told that I would get a cargo cover at the same time. I called every week plus e-mailed Taylor. Nobody ever returned my calls period. When I would talk to Service nobody ever new what was going on and always would get back to me and never happened. I always got the excuse waiting on manufacturer. Why would you wait when either way it was promised to be fixed. After much frustration and me calling every week finally got Mike to call me back on week six, very frustrating. Was told bring it in on Saturday and would take 3 day's to fix. I should have been able to pick it up today. I called and now it's a week, so maybe Friday. When you purchase a expensive vehicle would expect decent customer service. Feels like we have the money we are done!!!!! The sales person should have followed this thru and made things happen. He is the one making the promises. Very disappointed in your customer service. More
