Went to look at and ended up buying a used 2020 Jeep Renegade. Car had the least amount of miles that was in my daughter's price range. We did a lot of research and knew what we wanted and already pre Renegade. Car had the least amount of miles that was in my daughter's price range. We did a lot of research and knew what we wanted and already pre-approved for financing. Adam Deathredge was a real pleasure to work with; highly recommend. DO NOT work with Lane the sales manager! He is a class A xxxxxx and is very disrespectful and rude; especially to women!! We almost walked away from the deal until the general manager asked us to come back and he finished the transaction. Me and my wife went to purchase a vehicle from the Cooper dealership in Shawnee here. First of all my wife had been talking to a specific salesman so we went in the back where the dodge dealership is. They t dealership in Shawnee here. First of all my wife had been talking to a specific salesman so we went in the back where the dodge dealership is. They told my wife that no one by that name worked here. So they gave her someone else. She came and got me where I thought i was talking to the gentleman that had come in on his day off and was working to get us a deal. Well, We ended up getting a pre owned certified from the dodge dealership. They say they do a 150 point inspection and that the vehicles are brought up to their high quality standards. Well, when my wife drove the vehicle everything seemed okay and then I drove and it seemed okay as well. The next day and everyday after that I noticed the transmission jerking when initially taking off with the vehicle between gear 3rd and 4rth. After the initial run it wouldn't do it anymore. So I didn't feel it the first day I test drove it. Also noticed a little shaking too. Took it in before the 3,000 limited warranty they have and what they revealed was absolutely absurd. They did an actual 150 point inspection at the chevy dealership right in the front there. They found that the passenger side axle was going out for one... you know how dangerous that is? They also found out that yes the transmission is jerking. When I called the salesman about the jerking he told me the transmissions need to warm up and his new jeep with 14,000 miles was doing the same thing.... I didn't believe it which is why I brought it in. The air filter was so dirty on the vehicle it had chunks of dirt and crap behind the filter getting sucked into the engine... the cabin filter was so disgusting it obviously had never been changed. Nothing! Absolutely nothing! Had been done to this vehicle for any kind of standards making it a literal rolling death machine. So I went to speak to Jason Valentine the gm over the dodge dealership. Let me tell you never hire a used car salesman as a general manager. I felt like I was talking to another shady salesman. For one, he never called me back so we had to go up there and then when he knew he had disgruntled customers he left us waiting while he shot the crap with some guy in the dealership room..we waited over 30 minutes watching this guy make no effort to get to us. Then as I was explaining the situation he just filled the air full of it. Admitted they messed up but wouldn't as so much apologize. Tried to tell me they don't do full checks on more mileaged vehicles.... so you check the newer ones but the older ones that really need it apperantly they just ignore them...You ask him a question his answer is yes and no.... that's not an answer. He said he has something busy going on that day and he could help us the next day where as you could see his wife over there waiting on him for lunch. Apperantly lunch with his wife is more important than dealing with disgruntled customers. He also insulted my wife calling her emotional. That's not your place especially when dealing when disgruntled customers. He also lied when I asked him who the district manager was. He gave me a name so i contacted the dealership in edmond asking them how i get a hold of him/her. They said there is no district manager and will have corporate get a hold of me. Like literally jason valentines employees where more sorry than he was. The next day I told him I would be in around 11 and he said yea just ask for me so I got up there about 11:30 and he was "in a meeting". So I came back like they said around 1. He said did you want to deal with corporate or me? I said I'll see what you have to offer. (That way i can inform corporate on that as well). He told me corporate would say the same thing... (I'm not just calling corporate to try and make it right but I am also reporting you). He showed me 4 vehicles he would trade out for me. 4 vehicles out of the dodge lot... they can pull from any lot including the Ford and chevy lot right next to them. More
