I bought my first car (used VW rabbit) at Jim Wynne 25 years ago. I was 20 years old at the time and I still remember how comfortable and excited I felt with the whole experience. The people were so friendly and helpful even back then! Since that time, having moved away I used other car dealerships. I would compare them to Jim Wynne. The service at Jim Wynne was notably much superior to the other car dealerships. So when it was time to buy another car, now being back in the neighborhood, I decided to return to Jim Wynne. What a great decision that was! I bought a Volvo 2 years ago. Whenever it needs to be serviced, I call and am able to make a convenient appointment without any problems. Once again, everyone is so friendly and caring. You can tell they really care about you. Pat McLaughlin and Bob are a dynamic duo. They are exceptional at what they do! They are an absolute asset to Jim Wynne. It is so hard to find people that really care about their job and the work they do. Somehow, Jim Wynne found two of these exceptional people! One month ago on a Monday morning, after arriving home from vacation, my Volvo would not start. The battery was dead. That was odd. The car was 2 years old. I did not leave anything on in the car and we were only gone for 5 days. My neighbor gave me a jump start so that I could get to work. When I called Jim Wynne to make an appointment, they added me to their already busy Monday schedule later that day. By the time I was done work Monday, my friend/co-worker tried to give me a jumpstart. The battery would not even take the jumpstart. I was upset, because I was already running late and had to pick up my daughter from school. I had no back up plan for that particular day. My friend had a doctors appointment that she had to get to. I called Jim Wynne and Pat McLaughlin answered. When I explained the situation, she said " Don't worry about anything! We will take care of it". Within 15 minutes, the nicest man/mechanic came with a loaner car. He was able to jumpstart my car with a special battery pack and drive it to the dealership. Off I went with the loaner to get my daughter. To make a long story short, the problem with my car was something wrong with a short circuit. It kept drawing off the battery even when the car was off. Jim Wynne fixed the problem, gave me a new battery and now everything is once again great!! Thank you Pat, Bob and the nice mechanic that helped me that day. For four and a half years Brandon Beck and his fine tuned team have taken expert care of my lovely car and of me, as I know nothing about cars and car trouble makes me break out in hives. The service team is always so responsive and the few little concerns that I have had have been resolved quickly and efficiently, always with a smile. I paid a regular visit to my dealership to get my brake pads changed when I was asked if I had any additional comments/concerns before the service would get done. I brought up an issue I was having with my pads changed when I was asked if I had any additional comments/concerns before the service would get done. I brought up an issue I was having with my driver side seat bracket making strange noises. Brandon took my concern seriously and made it a point to have it looked at during the service. After the inspection he got back to me promptly and noted that he would have the seat bracket replaced despite my car being a few miles over the factory warranty, due to the unusual nature of the problem. A loaner car was offered to me and the service was done professionally and promptly on a future scheduled date. It's this type of business ethic and integrity that makes me happy to do continued business with Jim Wynn Volkswagen. It's extremely rare to get this kind of service in these economic times where businesses are hurting financially, and I'm very grateful to have chosen a dealership that treats its customers like humans instead of numbers.
