We purchased 2 new Nissans from Carriage Nissan, a 2008 Sentra and a 2007 Versa. Both have had major mechanical failure. The Versa had an entirely new engine replaced under warranty at 36000 miles. The tra Sentra and a 2007 Versa. Both have had major mechanical failure. The Versa had an entirely new engine replaced under warranty at 36000 miles. The transmission the failed while traveling out of state and we had a completely new transmission replaced at 50000 miles. The air conditioner has now failed in the middle of the summer. Last week, we were traveling again, this time in the Sentra, and the transmission has failed in it and it remaines in another state being repaired under warranty. The transmission valve body failed on the interstate and sent our car into "fail safe mode" allowing the car to only go at speeds of 50mph on interstate 65 with semi trucks and cars blowing past us. On the original Versa failure, Carriage was NO help whatsoever and we even have a copy of an email where Chris Ellison of the service dept. states there is "not much we could have done" to help you out of state. How about looking up the nearest dealer and finding a tow truck. This was during business hours. We would not recommend Carriage for service or products ever again. The only thing Carriage kept asking was where we had our oil changed at?? We use a local oil service place, which is beside the point (yes we have receipts). It was just that Carriage could have cared less about the junk they sold us once we were out the door!! More
Worst truck I ever bought I got from Carriage Nissan I was so lucky to get rid of it fast. I will never buy from them or recommend them to anyone. The truck smelled like @$$ and had many issues. They mask was so lucky to get rid of it fast. I will never buy from them or recommend them to anyone. The truck smelled like @$$ and had many issues. They masked the smell but it came back in a few weeks. Had one part that the promised to replace it took over a month of run around. When I brought up them taking the truck back and buying a higher priced one from them instead they were not interested. They also tried to sell me this bad truck for $4,000 more than it was listed on their website for. More
