We were "had" to say the least, but this time around we would give everything and everyone a 5 star rating! Sara, our salesperson was AMAZING! And unfortunately we put her throught the ringer that day making sure we got exactly what we wanted! She was extemely patient, friendly and attentive to what we were asking for the entire day (we were there from 11 am to 5:30 p.m.!) We also dealt with Junior who had just started there and was shadowing Sara that day. He was polite and friendly as well. The Shorkey Family Auto Group has redeemed themselves in our book thanks to the great service provided by Sara and Junior! More
HOLD ON TO YOUR MONEY I purchased a 2013 Suzuki Kizashi from the dealership new. I love the car and had no problem with it until approx 2 weeks ago. The rear passenger side I purchased a 2013 Suzuki Kizashi from the dealership new. I love the car and had no problem with it until approx 2 weeks ago. The rear passenger side started having a rattle. I called the dealership to ask for an appt on Friday 9/4/2015. I was told that they could see me on that date because they were "short-staffed".WE have an extended warrenty on the car so on Tues 9/8/2015,the car was examined and we were told that the right rear lower shock bolt backed out and that possible damage to the knuckle. . In order to see if the knuckle was damaged they wanted 125.00..We declined the work and we were told that this could cause further damage or personal injury. They recommended that the vechicle not to be driven. No one could explain how the the bolt could of become loosened and cause that kind of damage except for "normal bumps on the road" (42713 miles) The total of work that the car needed was expected to be over 700.00 My husband paid 53.24 for the service fee and left. We had a friend of ours also look at the car-agreed that the bolt was lose,but did see any involvement of the shocks. He recommended to get another opinion. We took it down to the neighborhood garage where we normally have our cars serviced. The car was serviced , the shocks were found to be functioning properly,The bolt was noted to be lose (about half-way out). They checked for other damage,retighten that bolt-checked the remaining bolts,and test drove it. THE COST??????? 42.00 More

Our first experience with Jim Shorkey's dealership a few years ago was not a good one. The salesperson was rude and very disinterested in helping us. We went directly to another dealership and bought a few years ago was not a good one. The salesperson was rude and very disinterested in helping us. We went directly to another dealership and bought a car that same day. We had an older Suzuki that we loved, and heard the adds claiming great deals on new Suzukis. We decided to try Jim Shorkey again. This time we had Frank Smith as a salesperson. What a difference!!!!! He was courteous, attentive and just a nice guy. He even bought us dinner. He actually made buying a car a pleasurable experience. Ther was no "haggling" over price or trade in value. We were given what we wanted. It was such a great experience, we went back five days later and bought another new car! More
I Purchased a Used 2000 Chevy Truck from this company in August 2012 the truck was delivered to me in NC. On it's way down here the service engine light came on, I have had the truck in the shop more than I August 2012 the truck was delivered to me in NC. On it's way down here the service engine light came on, I have had the truck in the shop more than I have been able to drive it. The mass air flow sensor was replaced 3 times because this is the code it was throwing. That did not fix the issue, then the main computer modual was replaced this still did not fix the issue. Now with the service light on and it still saying mass air flow sensor and my local Chevy Dealership unable to find the cause, I come to the next issue, I have not even been able to drive the truck threw its first oil change meaning I have not even put 3,000 miles on the truck because it has been in the shop constantly and the transmission has now broke down and needs to be replaced. Jim Shorkey Suzuki gave me a WARRANTY FOREVER however because this break down happened before the 4,000 mile waiting period they will not cover the repairs. I have called and called speaking with a Mr. Bill Fabian Service Department Manager and he provides no solution. I am told the the dealership will not do anything because it is past their 3 month guarantee therefore I am stuck with a truck I gave over $8,000.00 cash for and have spent almost $3,000.00 trying to fix the issues that accord when it was being delivered. I have been told that I will receive a call from the General Manager Matt Goranivich but am still waiting a week and a half later for that call. I strongly caution anyone considering to do business with these people to find someone else if you want to save your money. More
I took my car in for a tranny problem and the service guys all have attitudes and dont want to listen to you. They tell you what they will do. I have had my car back for two days and the same tranny prob guys all have attitudes and dont want to listen to you. They tell you what they will do. i gave a high rating becausse his attention to my needs was very good. He gave the attention about a car that I had never seen before. The car had many features and he went over each with expertise. As a woman driver some sale people try to act as though these details are not important to us but it is and I appreciated this. People like to be treated well when they come into a dealership and not like a "number" I think he was able to show this. Each time I have come into the shop he makes a point to ask how my car is performing and if things are going well. Thank YOU Ken for a good job I don't give out accolades unless you have earn it. My wife and I stopped in to look at the Sorento and Tim Hoffman came out and asked if he could help us look around.
