poor service Last year i bought a chrystler 300 from Jim Riehl's Friendly automotive group in Lapeer, Bill Hilliard was the sale person. As soon as I had the paper Last year i bought a chrystler 300 from Jim Riehl's Friendly automotive group in Lapeer, Bill Hilliard was the sale person. As soon as I had the papers signed he said he had something else more important to do so he had somebody else show me where the car is. Shortly after i got the car home i realized that the GPS in the car was not programmed correctly. So i called the help line and I was on the phone with them for 45 minutes and still could not fix the problem so they told me to take it to the dealer. I had to leave the car at the dealership for almost a full day so they could correct the problem. A few weeks later I went to remove the tire and the special socket for the tire lock wasnt even supplied. So i had to go back to the dealer AGAIN and they gave me one to use until they could order me one. As soon as they got it in they called me and told me that the one that that they loaned me they needed back as soon as possiable because they needed that specific one for the service department. So again i had to go back to the dealership. Within a few more weeks the car has a shade for the rear window and it started to malfunction, so i went back to the dealer AGAIN was they kept it for 2 more days and I was told that there wasn't anything wrong with it. A week or so later it completely stopped working so i yet again had to return to the dealership. This time they had my car almost 3 weeks, I called the service manager and left a message for him to call me back and he never called me back for 2 weeks. During that 2 weeks Bob Riehl called me and told me that i could take the car elsewhere for service. With that being said, I don't know why he didn't tell me to go elsewhere to buy the car. The car only has 4000 miles on it. When they called me to tell me that the car was fixed after almost 3 weeks, I told them that I couldn't come and pick it up right away, because it was the weekend. The fallowing week the service manager called me, he said that if i didn't come pick up my car as soon as possible they would start charging me for the rental. I asked him to give me something in writing that if these same problems ocurred as long as i had the car. They refused and told me that I would have to call Chrysler. During this three weeks Jason in service called me to give me an update, and in one of these calles he told me that Bob Riehl put a gift card in an envlope and placed it on the passengers seat of the car. After i picked up the car I realized that there was no envlope, so I called Jason and he returned my call and said that "after how things went down he took the girft card back". Last year I bought 2 cars from Bob Riehl that combined a value of over 90 thousand dollers, and this is the way I get treated? It appers that the only time they are friendly to somebody is when they are taking their money. Also it appers if you have a problem with your car after buying it from this dealership you should take it somewhere else for service, as Bob Reihl suggested to me. Over the many years that I have been dealing with business people I have never been treated this way. I would like to have a response from somebody at Chrysler conserning this matter. You can get my phone number from somebody at the dealership. Anybody else dealing with this dealership should take this in to considerition before dealing with these people. Gerald Jasper More
