I I bought a used Cadillac XT4 in February, The dealership texted me a service reminder with two different packages for services offered. Randy gave me a list of things that were needed according to the mileage on the car and it was over $800. I told him I was only interested in the package I selected on the website. he said he had never heard of that, so I showed him on my phone that you can log into the website and make an appointment online and select the package. He would not acknowledge what i showed him, they would not service my car for the package price online. I spoke to Jared the service manager and he said that pricing was “not reality”. I explained to him that it is on the friendly cadillac website. He would not honor the package price that’s listed online. I wasted my time making an appt and going there Terrible customer service. He told me general motors does these offers and doesn’t tell the dealership. Not sure why he would want to offer that information to customers as it sounds unprofessional. I’ve bought 5 cars over the years from this dealership. I will take my business to Serra from now on. More

Can't say enough about the Service Dept. Jarrod, Pete, and Randy work so hard for their customers. I commend the dealership for keeping these guys on their staff for so many years. Service Department _ Outstanding Customer Service I purchased my 2016 SRX from another dealership. I had been using this dealership for all my maintenance needs. Due to schedule conflicts, I was una I purchased my 2016 SRX from another dealership. I had been using this dealership for all my maintenance needs. Due to schedule conflicts, I was unable to use this dealership and decided to go to Friendly. I am so happy I did. I was so surprised to learn Friendly's prices for the same services were quite a bit less than my original dealership. The customer service was fantastic. After my car was ready the gentlemen asked me if I knew all the neat features on the SRX. He took the time to show me quite a few features that I never even knew where on my car. The staff at Friendly is truly dedicated to customer service and is driven to exceed a customer's expectations. More

A permanent solution at no cost to the customer is the right thing to do for building long term customer relationships and repairing existing GM / Dealership image. A competing Automotive OEM's 4 cylinder engine also has a manufacturer's defect and they have responded honorably to their customers by notifying them and standing by a promise to fix or replace the engine when necessary at no cost to the customer. GM dealership personnel neglected to advise of the existence of known defects with the 2,4L Engine and in fact attempted to "sweep this issue under the rug" instead of being honest about its existence. Plenty of timing chains, camshaft actuators and entire engines have been replaced, sometimes more than once. Beware if your four-cylinder Equinox/Terrain starts chugging like an old Massey-Ferguson tractor. A class-action lawsuit alleges the four-cylinder engine consumes as much as a litre of oil per 1,600 km travelled in 2010-2017 models. Some may be candidates for new pistons and piston rings. On models built before March 2011, there is a strong correlation between leaking high-pressure fuel pumps diluting the oil and resulting ring wear. Dealers use an oil consumption test to measure wear: if a quart (0.95 L) disappears in under 3,200 km, the engine is considered defective. Some owners have documented a quart or liter of oil lost in as little as 600 km. Dealers will replace the four piston assemblies.
