I took my car in due service stabili track message and possible battery replacement. I was charged over $400 for an oil change and battery replacement. Terrible service department Called and was told to bring in equinox for an oil change. Was told i didn't need an appointment and they were closing at !;00. I arrived and told the service tech i was here for and oil change and just called. i told him it was free oil change and he walked through a door and came back and said they were too busy. this after i called 10 minutes earlier and the guy told me they were slow. I believe it was because it was a free one. pitiful customer service. Will pay for my lifetime of free oil changes before I go back to this crappy place. More
Do not spend your hard earned money with these price gouging crooks!!! My mother had to take her car in today because her trunk latch quit working, she is a hospice aide that is constantly in and out of gouging crooks!!! My mother had to take her car in today because her trunk latch quit working, she is a hospice aide that is constantly in and out of her car and the trunk, going into facilities and patient homes during this world wide pandemic. So this should have been a quick and easy and relatively inexpensive repair. She was there for two hours and they charged her 488.89 to fix a simple trunk latch. The part alone was charged as $180 so they charged her over $300 for labor for a job that should have taken 30 minutes to a hour maximum. Do not support this business. They don't care about customers at all. More
Took our SUV in to them back in October 2019 for heater blowing cold out the passenger side. After several run arounds with them and even told twice it was fixed. We had picked it up and had to turn around less than 5 miles away cause still not working. I finally got a call from Phillip my service rep. saying it had a cracked head. They gave me the report that states the coolant system passed a pressure test but he said "it was not leaking coolant out only letting air in" that is impossible according to 3 other shops. I now have it at another shop and they are working it. Route 66 seems to drag their feet, make up problems, and charge for parts and labor they just throw at your vehicle. More
