We have purchased 2 new Kias from Jim Marsh and got great deals on both. The price was right and we had used their service department and were really impressed. However the last time we called to make an appointment we were told it would be 3 weeks to get in for service. This has never happened before in the 9 years we have been going there. So don't know if they are short on techs or just cutting back but it's not good from the customer standpoint. More

Since 2015, Jim Marsh Kia has been the only place I have purchased my vehicles… My Kia Optima, my Jeep Wrangler and now my ‘22 Stinger. Their customer service and professionalism keep us coming back. And their service department and service manager, Todd, treat us like family! Whether it’s a check-engine light, a safety recall where my engine had to be replaced, a tire change or a regular maintenance check, I will not take my 4-wheeled babies anywhere else. 5-stars all day long!!! I had a brake job done on my Kia Sorento on May 17 2022 paid over $600 to have them not tighten lug nuts on front wheels jeopardizing safety. Long story short, my daughter drove from Las Vegas to Los Ange paid over $600 to have them not tighten lug nuts on front wheels jeopardizing safety. Long story short, my daughter drove from Las Vegas to Los Angeles with wheels about to come off. They only have 5 lugs on each wheel with 4 of them on the front wheels not tightened, a tragic/fatal accident could have occurred. I went out to the dealer to " look " at a Stinger and ended up leasing a Scorpion. Jesse "Magic" Martinez was a outstanding salesman. I was very disappointed in how their business model was to show you how many discounts and write-off they were willing to provide you so they could claim you are being treated "special". But the MSRP quoted was increased by more than all those discounts and when challenged why the MSPR quote is so high, they claim that is what the market is at but on line and talking to Findley Kia, that response is again misleading on Jim Marsh Kia's part. The trade-in offer for my 2018 Kia Nero hybrid was much lower than the other sales manager was offering the previous week when he was trying to have me upgrade with the promise he could likely lower the monthly payments. It became clear this was all part of a business model that is not straight forward and covered with deception and diversions to cover the actual cost they would like you to pay rather than 1) this is our price to purchase the new vehicle 2) this is what we are willing to give for a trade in. Then the question, is that a reasonable offer to you rather than "well we started high because it is our business model and decrease from there trying to make you think we are really slashing our prices just for you, when the truth is, their efforts are not with integrity and lined with smoke and mirrors along the process. When I confronted them with the pricing decrepamcies and then stated that I was leaving, they held onto my car keys for another 20 minutes in order to give a General Sales manager a chance to share more smoke and mirrors rather than explain the real reason for starting with such a high MSRP. They finally gave me my keys after finding an office Manger and requesting I not be held hostage via my car keys. The General Manager still continued on for another 10 minutes until I finally excused myself and departed. A very unpleasant and uncomfortable experience for me that I am sure Jim Marsh himself would have been displeased with his sales staff. They had a sale and lost it. Don Col.Ret. More
