Worst service department ever. Service representative Bailey argues and berates you. The man talked to me like I was his child. I'm at least twice his age. Then the manager Todd de Service representative Bailey argues and berates you. The man talked to me like I was his child. I'm at least twice his age. Then the manager Todd defends him and tells the me I'm out of line for yelling after Bailey says he's "doing me a favor for even letting me bring my car in without an appointment." 'll never go back to their dealership for service or to purchase. More
They tried to rip me off. $6K less for my trade than other dealers. They wanted $18K and my 2021 Tesla3 for an EV-6. I went to Henderson Hyundai and made the deal for a better $6K less for my trade than other dealers. They wanted $18K and my 2021 Tesla3 for an EV-6. I went out to the dealer to " look " at a Stinger and ended up leasing a Scorpion. Jesse "Magic" Martinez was a outstanding salesman. I found him to have expertise, knowledge and the professionalism that ended up leasing a Scorpion. Jesse "Magic" Martinez was a outstanding salesman. I found him to have expertise, knowledge and the professionalism that makes him a 5.0 salesmen that stands out above average and excellent in which was the prime reason for my lease. In addition, the sales manager " Sal" also made my visit a enjoyable experience. Jim Marsh Kia is a top shelf dealer and rates a "atta boy". They will have my continued business. More
My Kia Optima’s Hybrid system shut down on the freeway during rush hour. After “limping” into Jim Marsh Kia, where I purchased the vehicle, I left the keys in the after hours box and heard from no one unt during rush hour. After “limping” into Jim Marsh Kia, where I purchased the vehicle, I left the keys in the after hours box and heard from no one until I called 2 days later. The Receptionist couldn’t connect me because she was “too busy” and asked that I call back later. A week later, I got into contact with my Service Advisor, Todd Gerstenberger, who told me he tried to call me earlier…No missed calls. I was informed a Kia engineer was looking at my vehicle because there were no leads his Techs had on why the Hybrid system shut down. No communication until another week had passed when Todd told me my car’s system was reset and I could come pick it up, however, he informed me that he thought it was a temporary fix and the car would be back. When picking up my vehicle, I checked in with Todd, and informed me that my keys were with the Cashier. I asked if there was a charge and he responded by asking me “ did I tell you there was a charge?”…just what I want hear when I’m told to come pick up my kinda fixed car. After picking up my keys, I asked about the Warranty and he accused me of asking him to commit fraud, I’m putting his family at risk by expecting him to come out of pocket for $7-8K…bizarre!! I took the keys, sold the car to CarMax the next day, as I have no confidence that this won’t happen again…the Advisor essentially told me to expect another breakdown and that my battle is now with Corporate. It’s too bad, because I attempted to stay with a local dealer. My kids were students of Ms Marsh’s years ago, I’m a lifelong local, and I was treated like absolute crap by a Transplant…needless to say, no more Kia business, no more Jim Marsh business. More
I was very disappointed in how their business model was to show you how many discounts and write-off they were willing to provide you so they could claim you are being treated "special". But the MSRP quote to show you how many discounts and write-off they were willing to provide you so they could claim you are being treated "special". But the MSRP quoted was increased by more than all those discounts and when challenged why the MSPR quote is so high, they claim that is what the market is at but on line and talking to Findley Kia, that response is again misleading on Jim Marsh Kia's part. The trade-in offer for my 2018 Kia Nero hybrid was much lower than the other sales manager was offering the previous week when he was trying to have me upgrade with the promise he could likely lower the monthly payments. It became clear this was all part of a business model that is not straight forward and covered with deception and diversions to cover the actual cost they would like you to pay rather than 1) this is our price to purchase the new vehicle 2) this is what we are willing to give for a trade in. Then the question, is that a reasonable offer to you rather than "well we started high because it is our business model and decrease from there trying to make you think we are really slashing our prices just for you, when the truth is, their efforts are not with integrity and lined with smoke and mirrors along the process. When I confronted them with the pricing decrepamcies and then stated that I was leaving, they held onto my car keys for another 20 minutes in order to give a General Sales manager a chance to share more smoke and mirrors rather than explain the real reason for starting with such a high MSRP. They finally gave me my keys after finding an office Manger and requesting I not be held hostage via my car keys. The General Manager still continued on for another 10 minutes until I finally excused myself and departed. A very unpleasant and uncomfortable experience for me that I am sure Jim Marsh himself would have been displeased with his sales staff. They had a sale and lost it. Don Col.Ret. More
