I brought my car in for an oil change and Jerry was very helpful with making sure I redeemed the correct coupon and notified me of a recall and made sure that was taken care of while I was there also. Excellent service - always friendly and informative............would not take my care to be serviced anywhere else. I do have a complaint that is not against Jim Hudson or my service man, Mike Crocker, concerning the light assembly on my car. I have had a running light replaced three times, had the entire light assembly replaced in 2011 under a recall, had to have a light replaced since that time, now I have no bright beams or running lights and was informed by Mike that I need another complete light assembly. I am running only on low beam lights and wondering when that part of the assembly is going to go out. Something is wrong with this pictured that the light assemblies on my car are only lasting approx 3 years - I do not have 2700.00 to have this replaced, nor do I feel I should be required to pay for a replacement when Toyota is aware of the problem and so far has not been taken care of on my car. So I will be taking my complaint to Toyota headquarters - Let me reiterate, I have NO complaints against Jim Hudson Toyota or Mike Crocker - I realize this is something out of their hands, but just wanted to voice this concern. I am very loyal Toyota customer and have been for years, and do not allow anyone but Toyota dealerships do maintenance and repairs on my cars. More
Came in for my car's initial 5000 mile check-up. I was met promptly by the service rep. I was told the wait would be about an hour and I was actually out in about 45 minutes. We were on our way to Seabrook Island and needed the initial 10000 mile service on our 2013 Avalon. The service writer was extremely friendly and they got us in and out in one hour which was nice as we initial 10000 mile service on our 2013 Avalon. The service writer was extremely friendly and they got us in and out in one hour which was nice as we were on vacation and did not lose any time. They also washed the car which was great as we had been through the snow and ice event. The dealership was very impressive and in a great location. This experience was one of the reasons we went back to a Toyota. Thanks to the service department! I wish I remembered the service writers name as he was great. More
Tire rotation went well, a alignment was recommended because of tire wear. I agreed and had it done. Took the car back it noticed it pulling to the left when it had not been doing so before. This is a 100 mile round trip drive for me, so you have to consider that gas usage goes way up for a second visit. Was told that something was "knocked lose on the steering wheel" whatever that means, it was never explained clearly to me, but evidently it was fixed. Seems like they should have taken it out on the freeway themselves and test drove it before giving it back to me. I purchased this car here new and have taken it here for every one of it's service appointments. Last fall I was cleaning some leaves out from the hood vents and noticed a large build up on the battery of corrosion. I would have thought that during one of the service visits that would have been noticed and cleaned off. It was thick. Was disappointed in finding that. More

I have never been pressured to buy anything before it was needed. The asst service managers are always attentive and accommodating. I appreciate the fact that they personally come to you to report the progress of your car and or when it is ready. We appreciate the car wash. The waiting room with coffee and cookies are a great place to wait while your car is serviced. I usually time my service near lunch time as I enjoy the friendliness of the cafe staff and the very good food. The coupons and service rewards are helpful. On those few occasions where I have an issue, Andrew Dantzler has ably and congenially resolved the issue. I drive 45 miles to get to Irmo and I drive past the other Toyota dealership on my way to your dealership, although I have tried them. They don't compare in environment, friendliness, or accommodations. I hesitate to mention this but my wife complains about how cumbersome and time consuming it is to buy something in the small shop adjacent to the waiting room. First you have to get someone next door to find a person to help you. Then they have to find your name in the computer and enter a bunch of data and then they have to go back somewhere to make change. She enjoys buying the greeting cards. That is our only complaint and it won' t affect our use of the service dept. More

My husband and I moved from another Toyota dealership to Jim Hudson because of these employees Service Department with J.B. Storey and Mike Crocker. My husband and I moved from another Toyota dealership to Jim Hudson because of these employees and the trust level which was already established over years of car service. we have never been disappointed with our service and continue to feel well taken care of. The Jim Hudson Cafe has been a wonderful addition to the warm and friendly atmosphere of the dealership where adults and children are cared for during their 30 minute wait for car service with offerings of free coffee and freshly baked cookies. Throughout the day the Cafe offers home-cooked delicious breakfast omelets and croissants, gourmet sandwiches, salads and pizza choices. Actually, my husband and I have even been known to meet here for lunch while out in this area - it is delicious and quick. In addition, wide screen TV and Wi-Fi connection available and age appropriate movies for children are offered. What a pleasant place to spend the time it takes to keep our Toyota up and running for thousands of miles. More
I love Jim Hudson Toyota. I drive from Atlanta to have my Highlander serviced at Jim Hudson. I bought the Highlander from Jim Hudson Toyota and that was also an awesome experience. Prior to this purchas my Highlander serviced at Jim Hudson. I bought the Highlander from Jim Hudson Toyota and that was also an awesome experience. Prior to this purchase, I brought my Toyota Solara to them for all service needs and they kept it in tip-top shape. I have never had a bad experience at this service center. Always fast and courteous. I do visit relatives when I am in Columbia but have been known to drive to Jim Hudson Toyota to get my brakes worked on even when I wasn't visiting! More
The car was purchased from here but I used to take it to Dick Dyer on Killian to be serviced. Don't EVER take your scion/Toyota/etc there!!! The service here at Jim Hudson was super fast. I was literally taken aback by how fast these guys worked! I am a cheerleader for this dealership and my brother as well (he purchased his wife's Toyota Avalon from here).
