When we accepted, he wrote the contract differently, stating that his verbal number was on a mythical car - not the one we were discussing. Hours later we finally got the price. Only dealing with service was contentious. The bumber began to flake paint, they refused to even give us a $3 bottle of touch up paint. We sold the car. More
I actually tried to purchase a Volkswagen TDI Golf from both of Jim Ellis's locations but their sales staff was too hung up on themselves to even sit and discuss the transaction in a professional manner. I both of Jim Ellis's locations but their sales staff was too hung up on themselves to even sit and discuss the transaction in a professional manner. I honestly can not understand what is wrong with people in this particular profession. I ultimately did purchase a car from another dealership but have been unable to even buy a simple oil filter from Jim Ellis because they want to add 10% onto the already expensive suggested retail price of their parts.

I have no reason to do business with the particular dealership and I do not recommend them to anyone in the VW market.
