I trust them, and they have always given me the best service in a timely manner at the right price. I recently had to exchange a tire at another dealer, and that dealer failed to check the pressure in all my tires and reset the light. I went back to Jim Ellis, and they fixed my car immediately. I am thankful to have a place where I can count on good service every time. More
Great service and waiting area A very positive experience I have noting but good things to say about the service dept Eddie is usually the one I deal with but this week another man A very positive experience I have noting but good things to say about the service dept Eddie is usually the one I deal with but this week another man waited on me but he also did a great job. Sorry I can’t remember his name and do t have my paper work with me today. If there were a negative I guess it would be the length of time for the oil change, but they are great so the wait time isn’t too bad. More

Will not do this again. More
Christmas gift So I pre-paid for my daughter to have some damage to her passenger side mirror repaired on her Mazda 3 as a surprise Christmas present. We also decide So I pre-paid for my daughter to have some damage to her passenger side mirror repaired on her Mazda 3 as a surprise Christmas present. We also decided that while the car was there we would have it serviced as well, prior to my daughter returning to college.. My wife called and set the appointment and confirmed the pricing for the mirror and labor and also discussed if this dealer accepted Car Care service coupons that we had purchased with the car at Kuhn Volkswagen. In addition (I have since also called and found out that Jim Ellis is also a (Selling plan provider for the CarCare programs and should be aware fully of the program)) my wife was told yes that those coupons would be fine. Todd in parts was very good to deal with by the way! My wife and daughter arrived the day of the appointment and my wife presented the coupon prior to service and there were no issues or concerns raised. But when they returned to pick up the car the price was $268.00 which was an additional $53 dollars over what was agreed upon. Doug flippantly told my wife the coupons were not adequate and were only worth $40 dollars and they were do going to eat the overage. So if the coupon was worth 40 and the overage was 53 that is $93 for oil change and tire rotate? But that does not match the amount on the invoice provided either. Even if $93 is the correct cost why was the coupon issue not discussed up front prior to the service by the service manager when it was presented to him?? Also Doug’s tone and attitude with my wife and daughter was not professional, nor is it what we have come to expect from Jim Ellis dealerships that we have delt with for the last several years. We have always been glad to recommend Jim Ellis Volkswagen as our experiences there over our years of Volkswagen ownership have always been good and at least respectfully handled. That was not the case at this Jim Ellis Mazda dealership and I will not be doing buisness or giving any reccomendations. . Also See my daughters review on Yelp below for her opinion. “HORRIBLE SERVICE. I experienced an unbelievably rude employee at this location, and if I was the owner I would seriously reconsider having this member of staff working at my store. I arrived for a 12 pm appointment, I was scheduled to get my mirror fixed, an oil change, and tire rotation. An employee told me my car would be fixed by 2:30, but he said they would call to let me know for sure. 4 pm came and went (there were no calls from the dealership) I called the dealership to check and was sent straight to voicemail and no one returned my call, so I arrived back to the dealership. Upon reaching the service department I was told that my car had been ready since 2:30 (but no one bothered to call me, and I had wasted an hour and a half waiting.) I was with my mother, so we were both talking about my car. Upon receiving the bill we noticed several payment discrepancies, I was quoted $215 for the labor service (the part had already been paid for) but the bill was $265. So a man named "Doug" came over and was extremely condescending to my mother and I and basically said we were stupid, and didn't know what we were talking about. When I purchased my car I bought service coupons (for free oil changes, etc); however, he said this location didn't honor these coupons and that the place we bought them from had messed up. “Doug” said they didn't honor the quoted price, and I said, " well next time we will know and don't worry about it" he replied by saying "I'm not talking to you, I'm talking to her (my mother.)" I told him it was my car, but he just rolled his eyes, and walked off not giving me a second glance. I am a petite woman who looks a lot younger, so I suppose he thought it was okay to talk to me in such a manner. Long story short no one seemed to care about this rude employee, no one apologized, and we ended up paying $230 dollars instead of the quoted $215.” The Customer may not always be right But the Customer is always valuable! This time Jim Ellis Mazda failed to secure another lifetime customer. But after Reading some other reviews on yelp for this dealership it would seem Customer respect and value is not important. More
Surprises Guy who helped me was nice enough but opened by telling me that installation of Apple Play would be $529, instead of $199 as I had been told. Also, I had been told that I could have a loaner for the day and he told me upon arrival that I would need the declarations page of my insurance in order to do that. Would have been nice to know before arriving. More

2015 Mazda CX-9 airbag recall repair My wife and I have had excellent experiences with Jim Ellis in the past so please know that I write this review as calmly and sincere as I can. We to My wife and I have had excellent experiences with Jim Ellis in the past so please know that I write this review as calmly and sincere as I can. We took in our 2015 CX-9 for the airbag recall and, to our knowledge, that was repaired appropriately. However, we believe that our 20” wheel rims on the vehicle were damaged during the complimentary car wash that is provided with service. There are portions of all the rims that have been damaged with the worst damage on the passenger side (both front and rear rims). Now, we certainly can’t prove that the damage occurred while at the dealership, however we know for a fact our rims did not have this damage prior to our visit. When looking at the damage to the rims, it’s not a typical scrape or damage you would expect to see from hitting a curb...whatever did the damage has completely removed the finish in certain areas. In summary, I am not writing this review looking for free rims, but I would hope that if this damage did indeed happen at the dealership, you all would want to do the right thing for your customers and try to make it right. Thank you, Joe Arnoldy More

Seem to get irritated when I call to find out whats going on with my car.I had to call. Did not do any type of followup with me. When I cam to pick up my car, he just handed the keys to the young lady and walked away. She had to asked what's going on. My daughter asked if she could get a quote for the repair. I did not feel comfortable around him. So I don't think I will be back. More
