My service experience with Jim Ellis Mazda was ELITE! Brought my car in for a routine oil change and maintenance and could not have had a better experience. First, no one answers the phone in the service department. Ever. My first service was a oil change and warranty issue. The receptionist requested I make an appt via their website. Frustra department. Ever. My first service was a oil change and warranty issue. The receptionist requested I make an appt via their website. Frustrating when I'm talking to someone, but OK. When they had my car I called multiple times to check on the progress and they would not pick up the phone or call back. Perhaps it was a bad day? Second time I have a warranty issue. I bring the car in and they took pictures and said they needed to submit to Mazda. OK. I called for an update in 1 one, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, finally at 4 weeks I get a text response saying they had no record of my visit. We went through it all again. Again, no one answers the phone. I finally had to call Mazda USA and they said "no one ever answers the phone at that dealership, it's like they don't want service work". So now it's being dealt with by corporate. I have no idea how you run a business without answering the phone or responding to voicemails. More
