I was having a hard time getting the back up camera fixed. Finally, Mazda issued a recall 3 1/2 years after the camera stopped working. When I called for an appointment to have it fixed, I was told th fixed. Finally, Mazda issued a recall 3 1/2 years after the camera stopped working. When I called for an appointment to have it fixed, I was told they were overbooked. I spoke with Carlos Mercado, the service manager. He could not have been more helpful. He helped me ge5 it scheduled as well as explained why it was so frustrating to get this recall fixed. While it was still a little frustrating having to jump through Mazda’s hoops to get it resolved, Carlos and his team could not have been more helpful. Great service, great people at the Jim Ellis dealership. Thanks for your help ! More

Terrible experience, they tried to price gouge me and do a lot of unnecessary stuff to my car. They quoted me $3,000 and completely misdiagnosed my 2014 mazda cx-5. Their service manager (Eddie?) charged me a lot of unnecessary stuff to my car. They quoted me $3,000 and completely misdiagnosed my 2014 mazda cx-5. Their service manager (Eddie?) charged me $300 for diagnostics that were incorrect. I took it Pep boys after taking it to Jim Ellis (because the car was still drivable mind you) and pep boys said all I needed was a new battery and like magic the issue was fixed. I gave Pep boys the diagnostic report from Jim Ellis Mazda and they said it was definitely an attempt at overcharging me for unnecessary services and my alternator has been working fine ever since, even though Jim Ellis Mazda said it had already gone bad. DO NOT trust this dealership or service department, I'll never use them again. This felt like a scam for sure. More
From the time I arrived, until I left, I was treated as if I was the only customer in the building! Eddie Goines kept me updated, and checked on my needs during the wait, and my service Technician, Richard if I was the only customer in the building! Eddie Goines kept me updated, and checked on my needs during the wait, and my service Technician, Richard informed me via video, as to what was being done. Could have had it serviced closer to home, but the extra drive was well worth it! Will do the same thing next time!! Awesome!! More
