I've been raving about my car buying experience with Hilton Young all week to my coworkers, and decided to finally fill out an official review online. I spent a week looking for a new car, visiting 7 different dealerships and test driving a dozen vehicles to really do my research. Every dealership I went to tried to pressure me into buying a car right away, and almost every salesman I met with second guessed the kind of car I wanted to get and the features I was looking for. A friend recommended the Jim Ellis dealerships, and I'm so glad they did. From the moment I walked into the Jim Ellis Mazda dealership, my experience was 100% positive. Hilton listened to me and never second guessed me about what kind of car I wanted, and he took me for a nice long test drive where I could see how the car drove in traffic, how it handled curves, the turn radius, how it handled bumpy roads - everything. It was such a positive experience taking the car for a test drive and being listened to and not pressured that I knew that I was going to buy my car from him. When I decided to purchase the car, Hilton walked me through everything and made sure I was comfortable with all the different service packages. He had prepared an owner's manual for me with color coded tabs marking important pages, and went through the pamphlet explaining all the car's special features in detail. He then spent another half hour or so with me sitting in the car, showing me how the car's display worked, how to access my settings, and even connected my phone via Bluetooth so I could make my first phone call. By the time I drove off the lot, I knew my vehicle and all its safety features, and even had some radio stations on my favorites list. Hilton took care of me as a customer, and I've kept his business card so I can recommend him to all of my friends. More

I ended up with top of the line in the class I had shopped around at a few other local dealers and had felt ignored and like I was being over charged. I ended up with top of the line in the class of vehicle for less than what other dealers quoted me. They got me what I wanted PLUS Extra features. They were honest, professional and clearly care about their customers. Love my CX-5 and would absolutely buy my next car from them as well. More

While he explained the features during my sales process, I did not retain the details. I especially appreciate that he is easy to contact and allowed me to make an appointment for a 1 on 1 review. While the information is in the manual, Hilton has a hands on approach of teaching whilch is better than just reading. Now I am more comfortable with my new car. He assured me if I need another review I can contact him again. If you are looking to purchase a Mazda, Jim Ellis of Marietta is your place and Hilton Young is your contact. Not high pressured just friendly, professional and patient. More

Their salespeople are genuinely friendly and are extremely knowledgeable on their vehicles. We worked with Mike Fresquez who answered every question and more. He followed up, but made sure it was on the our requested schedule. He was patient and took our time with us, as the decision was a tough one to make. We really appreciated this. The salespeople also were not pushy at all, and tastefully did not bash their competitors. They were willing to negotiate price, and went above and beyond to make the car buying process (and service visits afterwards) simple and enjoyable. My only complaint is that I feel that we could have received a better interest rate. It seemed that they were advertising a close to 0 rate, however we were told the lowest they could lock in was around 2.5%. Other than that, I highly recommend buying a car from these good people! More

Expect to be kept waiting for service. Even with an appointment I waited for close 2.5 hours (in a the door at 11:30 am and out at 2:45-3 pm) for my car to have a 5k service done. Pretty much a basic oil change and tire rotation with a couple of other random checks. For someone with an appointment, which I made almost 3 weeks in advance mind you, that seems a bit on the high side as I have done walk-in services at this specific dealership at just about the same time of day and same day of the week and been out in about an hour or less. So take away from that what you will. Granted, I do not know whether they overly busy due to it being so close to the holiday traveling season (12/20), and this was my complimentary first service on this leased vehicle from this dealership. In the future I will probably be going to a place that values my time a little more. Given this experience, I could not justify paying for a simple service like this only to be kept waiting for what seems, to me at least, to be an inordinate amount of time. More

After two calls left messages. Spoke to service advisor and he was extremely helpful in setting time to bring car back in. Service advisor has always done an outstanding job and has been great to work with. Reason we return to him for all services. More
