I placed an online parts order with Jim Ellis Mazda Marietta on July 31, 2025 (Order #17264201) for A/C clutch pulley part EC0161L1X, advertised on sale for $21.06. I completed checkout, paid in full, Marietta on July 31, 2025 (Order #17264201) for A/C clutch pulley part EC0161L1X, advertised on sale for $21.06. I completed checkout, paid in full, and received confirmation. The next day, I was contacted by the parts manager who claimed the price was an error and said I needed to pay $125.22, or they would cancel the order. I declined the upcharge, and they voided the transaction entirely. This was not a typo or obvious mistake — it was a listed sale price. I’ve filed formal complaints with the FTC (Report #190972510) and BBB, as this was a clear case of post-sale price manipulation. With more to come... This kind of bait-and-switch tactic reflects poorly on Mazda’s brand and undermines trust in their dealer network. More

Dealing with Ryan, the closer, was not nearly as good of an experience. He was pushy with the extended warranty options. And he even stated that Mazda would not honor the warranty if I did service myself. I responded that that statement was erroneous, and illegal. He doubled down. I have no time for disingenuous people. More

Bought a 2025 Mazda CX5, sales and staff were nice. Though I would recommend going to a different dealer for purchase. If not for 0% apr promo I would have canceled purchase after 2 disappointing facts. I was told that included with every vehicle was door edge guard, window tint and interior protection. Later during signing I was informed that the this inclusion costs me $795 and that I could not opt out due to the apr promo. I was then informed that none of this protection was already applied to the car and would have to return later to the dealer to get it installed. Door edge guard was poorly installed and already began peeling the first day. After signing we also were told that someone had lost 1 of the keys that come with the car and that we had 30 days to come back to get a new key made or we would forfeit being able to have a new key made on the brand new car that they lost. When opening the new key fob to see what batteries I would need to buy when they go out I found that this new key fob did not include the metal key inside in case of failure of the key fob. Unless they have a promo or a used model that you are looking for I would recommend either going to a different dealer or arrive prepared. More
