Poor service after purchase We purchased our 2017 Kia Sportage in May of this year trading in our 2013 Kia that we loved. and NEVER had any issues with. I use the Kia for work as We purchased our 2017 Kia Sportage in May of this year trading in our 2013 Kia that we loved. and NEVER had any issues with. I use the Kia for work as a home hospice nurse so not only do I depend on having reliable transportation, but so do the families of the dying patients I serve daily. After only 4 months of ownership and only 10,000 miles I started having trouble with the Kia. The AC was not working properly, September in GA can be unbearable at times without AC. The AC would blow cold at times then it would blow just air like it was just a fan blowing without the AC. Then on 3 separate occasions while driving down the highway the engine would rev as though it was in neutral and I was giving it gas. The car did not jerk or lurch or speed up it was just a rev'ing sound that lasted a few seconds then quite. I called Cobb County Kia to request service for my "brand new" 2017 Kia only to be informed they would not cover a courtesy vehicle or even a rental vehicle and without knowing what is wrong with my vehicle have no way to tell me how long I will be without one. I explained to the service dept Mgr after waiting on hold 17 mins then having to hang up and call back, my car is my work, without it I can not work. They didn't care! Useless! So I explained I will now have to pay for a rental for an unknown length of time while my "New" vehicle is being diagnosed. I have only bought new vehicles in the last 20 years and this is the first time in over 20 years I have had issues with a vehicle that hasn't even been broken in yet and received terrible service from the dealership who has no desire to work with me so that I am able to continue working. I am now waiting for the general mgr. to return my call but feel certain I will be taking my complaints to the BBB and Consumer Reports. More

This is a phenomenal dealership full of positive energy and Consultants who truly look out for the best interests of their clientele. Thank you so much Keely. Dishonest I had my car serviced 11/16 (recently 8/10/17). A few days later I went into my center storage compartment where I usually keep $20-$25 "emergency" mo I had my car serviced 11/16 (recently 8/10/17). A few days later I went into my center storage compartment where I usually keep $20-$25 "emergency" money to find that not only were the bills missing but the envelop I had with about $10 worth of quarters. I retraced where I may have left my car where someone else may have had access I could not identify that my car was left where somebody may have access. I left messages for the Manager (head of) the service department but never received a response. I then sent an email to him telling him I couldn't be sure exactly how much was taken so could not make an actual claim but thought he should know and take action to be sure others will not have the same experience. I never heard back from him. I let the matter go until I saw the Dealer Rater form when visiting for service on 8/10/17 and was reminded of the incident. This is the second Kia I have owned and my experience with CCK has been much better than the last dealer I bought from. I was not looking for anything in return. I am just very disappointed that I was not given the courtesy of acknowledging my complaint. Paul Regna More

I receive emails to give me notice for my regular maintenance which is good for someone who forgets that those things are necessary for the life of my vehicle. The best part is the attention that I receive from the employees in the service department. My key person this trip was Robert Brooks. He answered my questions with great details and precision with a smile. Robert also understood my need to put some things off because of budgeting so he recommended a couple of "to do" ideas so that the funds could be allocated towards what I needed done at my next appointment. Thank you Robert Brooks for being attentive to details and your kind service with a smile. More

Josh the mechanic was very helpful in finding the issue for me and helping me with my bluetooth. I would highly recommend their service department, they are very knowledgeable and honest. More

My husband had to wait more than an hour for anyone to approach him when he brought the car in for a scheduled in advance appointment. Not only that, but they seemed to not know what we wanted done to the car, even though it had been outlined when the appointment was scheduled. I had a free oil chance available, but there is a still an amount charged for it. Not the full amount, but free is supposed to be free. They also gave him no indication of how long it would take and so he and our toddler were in limbo for 5 hours total. They replaced a crushed washer for free during the oil change... hardly a consolation for his experience. The more I think about it, the more frustrated I get. I will say that the work seems to have been done properly - so at least there's that. More
