'm new to the area so I took my '19 Optima to a local 4. 5 * rated shop for an AC issue. I needed a hose assembly so they ordered the part from JIM ELLIS KIA. They sent the wrong part, 4 times. It turned out 5 * rated shop for an AC issue. I needed a hose assembly so they ordered the part from JIM ELLIS KIA. They sent the wrong part, 4 times. It turned out it was the warehouse that had the wrong part in the properly labeled box. Meanwhile I'm out cash and time while all this is going on. So I take a ride up to JIM ELLIS KIA to talk to the parts manager. She was fine but there was nothing she could do for me other than to confirm what my mechanic told me. I then went to talk to the manager on duty and I asked him if they could fix it for me without all the xx, diagnostics, etc, because that had already been done by my guy. I had to take the car back from him so he charged me $200 to be credited to the repair when finished. No problem. My warranty will only pay $1000, my mechanic estimated $1,300, so imagine what the dealer will charge? Keep in mind this is just for 1 piece, a hose, to be removed and installed. The manager asked me where I bought the car and where I get it serviced. I told him I just moved here and I live about 45 minutes south of them so I get my service locally. He told me that he couldn't do anything for me. I'd have to put the car in the shop, go through diagnostics and it would probably be here a few days. I called the KIA Consumer Line and they told me he should never have said that to me, that we're all supposed to be family and I ended up filing a report against JIM ELLIS KIA. But when I asked corporate to send me to a dealer and fix my car for the $1,000 (reminding them that it was THEIR warehouse that is at fault) they said no. All they were interested in was nailing JIM ELLIS KIA, not helping me. So 1 start for JIM ELLIS KIA, and 1 star for KIA CORPORATE and their xx hotline. P.S. I got a call from a female salesperson from JIM ELLIS KIA and I took the bait and went up to see her. That experience is worthy of a review of its own. Stay tuned. More

They are not respectful of your time! I called on Saturday and told them I wanted to pick up my car b/c it had sat there for 3 days. All I recieved was an, "ok"...nobody cared! When I picked my car up there was no courtesy wash and ALL the issues I was having when I dropped it off were STILL there! Horrible service all around! More

The car she found was a kia and the only problem with buying it was that the insurance company would not insure it without the anti-theft update recall done on it first. The dealership that we were getting the car from wouldn't take it to get the recall done so that she could buy it so I called Jim Ellis Kia, and they did everything they could to fit me in before we had to drive 2 hours back home so that she could get it insured and secure the purchase of her new car. I thank God for Jim Ellis Kia, eventhough we did not buy the car from them....they certainly made it possible for my baby girl to buy the car and leave with a smile. She loves her car and Jim Ellis made it possible! Excellent service! More
