Lackluster Service First, I have to say that my service advisor, Jeff Woo, was great! He did as much as possible to help within his control. My issue is that I heard f First, I have to say that my service advisor, Jeff Woo, was great! He did as much as possible to help within his control. My issue is that I heard from several people that were in the service department that Thanksgiving week was one of their busiest times of the year. At the same time, they were understaffed. If you know it is going to be higher than normal volumes, why would you not staff accordingly to support it. In addition, why don't you allocate some time slots for walk-ins? Many people take this week off & take advantage of doing these types of things during this time vs. having to take time off work to do so. My situation was completely unexpected & I had no choice but to go to the dealer for help. Seems to be that if you really care about customer service you would plan for many of these situations instead of worsening the situation for the customer by telling them there is very little you can do for them. At one time, Jim Ellis had the best customer service I had ever dealt with. But in the past few years, it has taken a dramatic downturn and will try anything else before going to them for service. I believe they've forgotten the phrase "Service after the sale" which really keeps people coming back. And instead of being the biggest name in town, you focus on being the best? Of course, all of the above is topped off by the exorbitant prices they charge for parts & labor. While they may be "industry standard", that doesn't mean you have to "follow the herd". Be innovative & customer focused!!! More

Malibu Car Service Vladimir is an excellent service advisor. He listened to me while I was explaining the problems I had with my car and he was able to get my car done t Vladimir is an excellent service advisor. He listened to me while I was explaining the problems I had with my car and he was able to get my car done the next day and even offered a car rental while my car was being serviced. I would totally recommend him. Jeff Woo on the other hand is a horrible service advisor. He was just taking over me and wouldn’t listen to what I was saying and was just too confrontational. Everything he was saying he couldn’t do, Vladimir was able to do. So I just believe Jeff is the worst service advisor to have. More
