Poor experiance with service. Had car in to fix a loud bang and loss of turn signal sound and door chime. Service tech heard same sounds and said he fixed the problem. They charged $792.00 for this and it did not fix problem. Called dealer and talked to Mark Christian who refused to refund my $792.00 and fix the problem correctly. Do not ever take your car to this dealer if you don't want to get ripped off More
Awesome experience with the Service Department One of the best Service Departments around. The first guys you meet when your in for service are really the only guys (and lady) that you need to meet One of the best Service Departments around. The first guys you meet when your in for service are really the only guys (and lady) that you need to meet because once you take your vehicle in, they handle it from there. They have always kept me up to speed on what is going on with my vehicle, when they anticipate it will be ready and most of the time, it is washed and ready to go when you come to pick it up. I really hated to see A.G. Elder leave the Service Desk because he is really good at what he does, but on the other hand, now he has been promoted to be in charge of the Service Department and he will make certain that Jim Ellis Buick GMC will remain the best Service Department out of all the dealerships around. I think Vince, Adam (and I apologize for not remembering the lady's name at the Service Desk) are great to deal with and everyone there is concerned about any issues you may have and do their "BEST" to resolve the problems. The Sales Manager Tom Culprit, Salesman Barry Bacon also get involved and do their best to resolve any issues. There are more people at this Dealership that go above and beyond what they need to do. Rich, Brian and more. I just wish I could remember everyone's name, but then it would take the fun out of you going to this Dealership and finding out all of this on your own. I strongly urge you to go and check out this Dealership and tell them Randy M. from Rome sent you. You will be glad you did. I challenge you to find a better Dealership and or Service Department, I can just about guarantee you that you will not find either.. Just saying............... I could go on and on, but why? Over and beyond Traveling from Chicago over 4th of July weekend and check in light came on in the mountains. Went in first thing in the morning with no appointment. Traveling from Chicago over 4th of July weekend and check in light came on in the mountains. Went in first thing in the morning with no appointment. Was met with a smile by Vincent and AG. Vincent told me that due to the holiday weekend they were a short staffed and booked solid. Explained that it would probably be Monday before the could get to me, but he would do his best to work me in if at all possible. No promises! Under the circumstances I accept. Vincent ordere me a shuttle back to my hotel and told me he would let me know something around noon, and he would also make a reservation for me at enterprise rent a car just in case. Well to my surprise around 11:45 Vincent as promised called me with some great news. Cathey were able to get me in and I would be done shortly after lunch. These gentlemen were awesome from first interaction all the way through the process. I would definitely recommend this service department to anyone. More importantly I was quoted on the phone a price of $230, when I went in to pick up my vehicle I was charged $290. It was only when I made it known that I was not happy about this that they gave me a "special discount" to get the price down to $250, still not what I was quoted. More

A service rep took my vin number and confirmed that I did I have warranty left on my vehicle. A.G. was very helpful, courteous, and informative when I arrived. Although it was a busy afternoon he provided me with the details in regards to the many warranties still left on my Buick, as well as a temporary Buick for the weekend. He took time to ask if I had everything I needed. He also spoke highly of Mr. Jim Ellis when I inquired about him and his many dealerships. A.G. followed up my phone call to let me know when the parts would be in and then called when they finished that Monday afternoon. Overall, I enjoyed my time at the dealership. More

Every single thing about Jim Ellis' service department is A-1. From the first person you speak to on the telephone when making your appointment, to the service representatives, service manager, service tech A-1. From the first person you speak to on the telephone when making your appointment, to the service representatives, service manager, service technicians, and cashier - everyone is friendly, kind, and helpful. The service area itself looks like a movie set of what a perfect service area should look like. The waiting area is warm and comfortable, the restrooms are clean as a whistle, there is always fresh coffee and tea as well as bottled water and hot cereal packets. The television isn't too loud, there are separate reading and/or work areas, separate children's room, current magazines, just everything you could want so you can be comfortable and occupied while you wait for your vehicle. The service reps keep you apprised of what's going on with your vehicle, and if necessary the technicians come to talk to you about the work they are doing or which needs to be done. Every aspect of the Jim Ellis service experience is pleasant. More
