The sales consultant I interacted with, Mr. Bivins, did a fantastic job of demonstrating the ins and outs of the Camry. Every last detail was brought to my attention, from the location of car battery termin fantastic job of demonstrating the ins and outs of the Camry. Every last detail was brought to my attention, from the location of car battery terminals to the noise-reducing material lining the underside of the hood and the trunk-lid. The test drive I was given was easily the best and most comprehensive I had had during my various trips to dealerships shopping for a new car, which included 5 dealerships for 3 different makes. Mr. Bivins was extremely professional and personable throughout the buying process, from my first visit to the night I closed the deal with him. Based on my experience with Mr. Bivins and the rest of the Jim Coleman employees I interacted with, I would wholeheartedly recommend Jim Coleman Toyota. More
Honestly, I have few complaints. Working with Patrick Coleman and Erica Bruns was a pleasure. Although, when my fiancee and I first went to the dealership, we were attacked in the parking garage by an ov Coleman and Erica Bruns was a pleasure. Although, when my fiancee and I first went to the dealership, we were attacked in the parking garage by an overeager salesperson claiming that "we were their lead" and that Erica had stolen us from him. One of the RUDEST experiences I've ever encountered in my life. The dealership really didn't seem to care, and that was in the back of my mind throughout the deal. I never really felt like they wanted me as a customer. After the incident, I gave them a piece of my mind, but decided to try and see where this would take us. I ended up getting down to the nitty gritty negotiations with a 2012 Prius. However, I didn't like the color choice that the dealer had ( I was looking for Blue and Dark Gray). They got a car from Koons Toyota (in a Gray/Dark Gray) combination, but jacked the price up by about 1,000 dollars from what Koons was selling it. That was a bit shady. Also, there were swirl marks on the paint job already due to what looks like crappy upkeep. I'm not asking for the paint to be flawless, but at least be free of swirl marks when I'm buying a new vehicle. In the end, even though I liked the service after the parking garage incident, I don't think I'd buy a car from here. Things seem a little overpriced (and this is before the Prius "sticker shock summer" event) in comparison with other dealers in the area. Things are about 1,000 or so above MSRP. Yikes. The fact of the matter is if you are looking for a Prius, there are over 600+ within a 100 mile radius. Someone will beat the offer you get. These aren't scarce. Don't let Jim Coleman Toyota or anyone else tell you otherwise. Additionally, I felt like I knew more about the car than my salesperson (regarding configurations, features, etc.) I wasn't too impressed by this. While I don't expect a salesperson to know everything, I expect them to know more than I do. More
We can't say enough great things about Jim Coleman Toyota. My husband bought a new Toyota Highlander from them in 2003. We went back this time because the experience then was great. Daniel Smith was o Toyota. My husband bought a new Toyota Highlander from them in 2003. We went back this time because the experience then was great. Daniel Smith was our sales guy this time and the manager of the dealership closed the sale. We decided to get a used car this time. My husband found a used hybrid Lexus SUV at the Coleman website and called about it. Daniel Smith was the sales guy who took the call. The car had been traded in less than a week before we saw it. We had researched the prices and Jim Coleman's price were very, very competitive. Additionally, they showed us the checklist of all of the things that they inspected. The sales experience was hassle-free. They promised to remove stains and some dents in the car. When my husband drove the car home, I couldn't believe how beautiful it looked. While their financing was good, our credit union offered better rates. The financing guy Tony Sohrab was wonderful. Again, no hard selling and he was very patient and answered all of our questions. We had dreaded buying a used car because all of our previous cars had been new. However, we left the dealership feeling great and we love the car. The manager who worked with us was funny, customer oriented and very respectful. We definitely would shop at Jim Coleman Toyota again. More
I was looking to buy a used car and over the past 4 years my credit has been pretty damaged and I submitted a request on Lending Tree at about 11:00 PM and by the next evening I was at the Jim Coleman dealer my credit has been pretty damaged and I submitted a request on Lending Tree at about 11:00 PM and by the next evening I was at the Jim Coleman dealership working with Larry and Harald on driving away with a great Highlander. I have bought many cars over the years and this was by far the easiest experience for myself. They were understanding of my credit situation, worked with me to get the car I wanted, the financing I needed and at the end of the day I was very pleased. There wasn't any playing around or going back and forth. I also enjoyed the fact that much of my communication and paperwork was handled online or via email, making the time I was actually at the dealership minimal, which is important to me and my hectic work schedule. I would recommend Jim Coleman to anyone looking to buy their next vehicle. Highlander Owner Leesburg, VA More
This was the first dealership we started at when buying our 4Runner. The salesman was extremely helpful and not pushy at all. Immediately he gave us a competitive price and options. We were given a model t our 4Runner. The salesman was extremely helpful and not pushy at all. Immediately he gave us a competitive price and options. We were given a model to take home overnight and drive around to see how it "fits". Even after this we found a better price at another dealership. The guys at Jim Coleman were able to match it and get us in the exact color and specs we wanted. They had to bring it in from another state and it only took a couple of hours to get it ready for us. They were efficient, kind and a true pleasure to deal with. Will definitely recommend them to anyone we know looking for a Toyota or Scion. More
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! If you are thinking about buying a Toyota RUN to another dealer. The salesman was obnoxious and tried playing games with the price several times after it was agreed on. Finally settl a Toyota RUN to another dealer. The salesman was obnoxious and tried playing games with the price several times after it was agreed on. Finally settled on a price and spoke to salesman several times during the next day to arrange a time to pick the car up- he said he was washing and prepping so it would be all ready when we arrive. My family gets there and we are told by the salesman he has a "surprise" for us- SURPRISE they just sold our car 20 minutes ago but don't worry because they have located another in Tyson's and someone is on their way to pick it up and bring it back right now. After he sees the look on our face and can't explain why they would sell our car SURPRISE nobody has actually left to pick the car up from Tyson's yet but they can send him right now and be back in an hour. At 5pm on a Friday. Needless to say I took my family and walked out the door. A few minutes later I received the obligatory call from a manager saying he understood there had been some miscommunication and could he waive the 200 processing fee to earn my business back. SURPRISE our salesman had told me Jim Coleman charges a 770 processing fee when adding it into the price he was "matching" from another dealer. When I told the manager I was disgusted with the way we had been treated during the process he told me in that case he doesn't want my business and hung up! Lesson learned and I will be sure to let everyone I know to stay away from this dealer. More
Over the past year I have purchased three vehicles from Jim Coleman Toyota and have always had a wonderful experience. All members of the sales, finance, and service teams were exceptional. The whole team Jim Coleman Toyota and have always had a wonderful experience. All members of the sales, finance, and service teams were exceptional. The whole team works with a customer from beginning to end, starting with sales, moving to finance, and even the service team assisted with the purchase by showing me how to work the voice control systems and setting up my Bluetooth capabilities. I cannot say enough good things about my overall experience - I would highly recommend Jim Coleman Toyota! More
After needing to quickly buy a car and searching for a pre-owned Toyota Highlander at no less than 8 Auto Trader listed dealerships in a week, we ventured an hour from home to Jim Coleman Toyota in Bethes pre-owned Toyota Highlander at no less than 8 Auto Trader listed dealerships in a week, we ventured an hour from home to Jim Coleman Toyota in Bethesda, MD. My husband arrived first and called me excitedly saying he'd found his car and "loved" it. He said the salesman, Peter Lee, was extremely accommodating, professional and respectful. When I arrived, Peter greeted us and I immediately felt comfortable. Then, my husband took me for a ride in the bright white '04 Highlander. What I first noticed was how clean it looked and how smooth it rode, especially since we'd had so many with which to compare! Peter did everything to make the transaction as quick and smooth as possible and even suggested we visit the Owners' Information Session taking place in the Service Office right then- at 8:00 p.m. I was impressed by the dedication of the service staff as well and even had one of the sales staff tell us the Service Dept. Mgr., a short no-nonsense woman who took her job very seriously, was rated as one of the best service departments in the country. So, overall, the whole experience was of the highest quality and resulted in my husband getting a great car, all thanks to Jim Coleman in Bethesda, MD. More
Everyone at the dealership was very friendly and very attentive as soon as we walked in. The overall experience was great and I was very happy with the customer service. Peter Lee was extremely helpful a attentive as soon as we walked in. The overall experience was great and I was very happy with the customer service. Peter Lee was extremely helpful and attentive to our concerns. Most car salesmen tend to be pushy and Peter was just the opposite. He was easy to talk to and a great listener. He made sure I was happy with the car and the services they were offering. I felt comfortable and the process was efficient and not rushed. More
