I have extremely happy with the service I have receive for the last seven years. Starting with the original salesman to my current service manager (Katie Gasemey), my interaction with everyone has been ve for the last seven years. I always know exactly what is being done to my car when being serviced. I did have a rather unique problem which took several trips to the shop, but was finally solved to no expense on my part. There had been a faulty hose connecting the fuel pump to the engine. My car is a 2006 Prius. Even my husband has had great dealings with your dealership both with is own 2002 Prius and with the possibility of purchasing a 2013 all electric Prius. Ultimately with the latter, my husband decided that buying a new car at the present time was not the best thing to do, however if he were to do so he would come to your dealership. I have recommended your dealership to several friends who have all bought cars from your facility. THANK YOU for all that everyone does to make happy customers. More
I purchased my vehicle from Jim Coleman Toyota in July 2012. After visiting several dealerships and talking to many salesmens I was quite exhausted from the pursuit of finding a new car. Before visiting Jim Coleman Toyota I had planned on taking a rest from car shopping if I did not make a purchase at this dealership. I must say that my experience was somewhat better than most of the dealerships I've visited. Lets face it the car buying experience isnt a pleasant one by far but the salesman play a big part in making that difference. Throughout the entire process I must say that Malcom Bivens provided the best service. On the very first day til the signing of the vehicle Malcolm has kept his word, assisted in any questions I've had, was responsive, and has been very supportive during the entire process. If Malcolm wasn't apart of the Jim Toyota team and of this transaction I highly doubt this deal would have gone through. Making a car purchase isnt a trivial task, its much like having a new baby or moving into a new home. In doing so you want to have people with you who you can trust and make sure that things are being done right and I felt that comfort level when dealing with Malcolm. upon closing the deal Malcolm also gave me his cell phone number and extended himself should I need anything moving forward or if there were any concerns I may have in the future. That put a smile on my face because not everyone in this business treats their customer in like manner. I must say Malcolm sure does put his word where his mouth is because I called him a few times on his day off and he still was willing to speak with me. In closing I'd like to personally send a BIG THANK YOU to you Malcolm and all your support and hard work and welcoming my new TOYOTA CAMRY to my home and family. I had a great experience at Jim Coleman Toyota. I walked in the showroom and the first salesman that greeted me, was Luis Medina, he was really nice and polite and really worked hard to land me in the right in the showroom and the first salesman that greeted me, was Luis Medina, he was really nice and polite and really worked hard to land me in the right car. After the sale, he followed up with me and ask me If I was satisfied with my purchase and with my new Prius. I found this dealership to be very friendly and flexible! We read Coleman Toyota's add for a Toyota Hybrid Electric at very reasonable price. We came to Coleman's to see the Toyota electronic marvel and were greeted by a very personable, on the ball Peter Lee who at very reasonable price. We came to Coleman's to see the Toyota electronic marvel and were greeted by a very personable, on the ball Peter Lee who showed us Coleman's uncluttered sales room with the Hybrid Electric in it we were considering. Peter was helpful in pointing out the differences between models. Peter was sensitive enough to go some place else to let us mull over the car and whether we would buy it or not in private. Neither my wife nor I experienced any of the hovering salesmanship we had previously experienced at other car dealers, Peter answered all our questions and concerns. We easily settled on the the Hybrid Electric because of it's stunning economy and more. I am an artist I like the avant guard futuristic design. This Hybrid reminded me of cross between an Alfa GTV I once owned and a Star Wars transit craft. My wife has trained in design and ergonomics. She also appreciates the excellent aerodynamics. Peter Lee easily found the ice white hybrid we wanted, ordered the accessories we wanted, let us think about it again and we asked for and signed the lease contract, which is a bargain. Peter explained the functions of the car to us several times, before, during and after the sale. I highly recommend Peter Lee to people interested purchasing in Toyotas. I also must say Florence was engaging and very helpful in getting the services and other accessories we wanted. Jerry PS; I just drove my car from north Silver Spring to down town Bethesda using economy mode and got on that trip 359 MPG -with battery power to spare. More
We were just beginning our search for a hybrid, and we were very glad we started at Coleman Toyota and with salesman Brian Brooks. I would not recommend this dealership to others for multiple reasons: 1) Their prices are extremely high $2-$4K over competitors though they will try to convince you otherwise. 2) They are disorg multiple reasons: 1) Their prices are extremely high $2-$4K over competitors though they will try to convince you otherwise. 2) They are disorganized and there is a lack of communication internally. I called ahead of time to see if a vehicle was still available. They suggested it was though after I drove an hour and a half to get there and spent 3 hours at the dealership test driving and negotiating a price, they then told me they had already sold it to an employee...unacceptable. I was working with Larry when this was determined after Abu "pawned" me off to him. 3) Abu suggested--over the phone--that there was flexibility in the price in order to get me to the dealership though when I got there, they suggested that was not accurate...not a professional way to do business. 4) After all of this was determined, a sales manager came over and explained the situation and said all he could do is say "sorry"...not in my book. He could do his job by training his employees on proper processes and procedures which failed at many levels during this one experience. First in his employee saying internet prices are negotiable, second for the breakdown in internal communication (sales people not knowing the vehicle was already sold and three to train employees to debrief one anothe when a potential client is moved to another sales rep. Martin, Smith and Langston were all responsive, direct, thorough and most helpful. There were no games played. The dealership had the exact model with desired features on hand. A reasonable price was given and there was no xxxxxx business. The car was ready when promised and we are pleased with it. I would highly recommend Jim Coleman and the team we dealt with. More
