Jim Coleman Toyota is a 3rd generation family owned dealership founded in 1987. The Coleman family has been selling and servicing cars in the Washington Metropolitan and Bethesda areas since the 1950s. Mr. Bill Coleman, the founder of Coleman Automotive, had a vision of establishing a dealership with a higher level of class and a superior level of service. He believed that Bethesda residents and Washingtonians alike possessed higher expectations of retailers and he was ahead of his time in striving to deliver a uniquely customer focused car buying experience. That tradition which established its roots at the original Coleman Cadillac in downtown Bethesda was further cultivated and expanded on by Mr. Coleman’s son Jim Coleman. Jim grew the business with the acquisition of the Toyota dealership and 6 other franchises in 3 locations over the past 30 years. In 2008 Jim was joined by his son Patrick Coleman who is currently the General Manager of the Jim Coleman Toyota. My experience with Jim Coleman Toyota - specifically dealing with Harold Schmidt and Daniel Smith - was excellent! I had gone to another dealer closer to my home (Passport Toyota in Marlow Heights) and dealing with Harold Schmidt and Daniel Smith - was excellent! I had gone to another dealer closer to my home (Passport Toyota in Marlow Heights) and was treated horribly. Due to a recent (messy) marital separation, my credit score is terrible. The reps at Passport Toyota treated me terribly, they were condescending and dismissive. From the moment Harold Schmidt called me regarding my credit application, I was treated with dignity, kindness and understanding. Harold and Dan both made sure that I got the vehicle I wanted and they were both really happy to help me. I will recommend Jim Coleman Toyota to everyone I know that is looking for a vehicle in this area. More

We worked with Matt during the whole process of test driving, selecting, and then buying our new car. He was wonderful to work with and very knowledgeable. We especially liked how enthusiastic and hones driving, selecting, and then buying our new car. He was wonderful to work with and very knowledgeable. We especially liked how enthusiastic and honest he was with us in all our discussions. We also appreciated the extra time Matt took to drive to another dealer to get the color we wanted, and once we received the car he spent a lot of time teaching us how to use all the new technology. Matt has a great positive upbeat attitude that made the whole experience of buying a car very pleasant. I would highly recommend Matt and Jim Coleman Toyota to all my friends and relatives. More

My experience was GREAT. our car was stolen and totalled. got an online quote from greg lucina, was not quite the car we wanted, he searched area dealers to find the correct color and features for us. the price was never chang from greg lucina, was not quite the car we wanted, he searched area dealers to find the correct color and features for us. the price was never changed from what we were told. they were not pushy, they were very professional yet friendly. very courteous, quick and easy transaction. the finance man was excellent, helping us to see what were the best choices for us for financing and why. he even called us back to the dealer because tfs lowered our rate by 1% as we are repeat customers over and over again. i would definitely go back again. We were treated very positively; are questions were answered and if there were questions that Greg couldn't answer, he quickly got as a response. I only go to Coleman Toyota for all my car care. My 6 yr old Rav is doing just fine and I am confident in the work that is done in their service department.
