So, wanted a new Pilot when my vehicle up and developed a fatal engine problem due to oil consumption (hmmm, which car maker could that be?). But where to go? Searched around quite a bit, even visited a few dealers in addition to contacting quite a few via email. Only one came through with the gorgeous Obsidian Blue EX-L I wanted, even though it's borderline impossible to find, and a too good to pass up offer as well. And that's Jim Coleman Honda. I have nothing but good things to say about how they went about their business to get mine. It was never about which vehicle or trying to sell me on anything, as I had already researched and knew exactly what I wanted. And they never tried to push in any direction other than the one that would get me exactly that. Big shout out first to Sales Manager Seth who got the ball rolling with an unbeatable deal offer, across multiple emails back and forth including matching AND substantially beating a competitor's President's Day sale offer. Also shout out to General Sales Manager Oz for bringing it all home, my Salesman Ravi, and Finance Manager Jonathan for their efforts as well. It might have taken a little bit of work, but we got to a number that was very comfortable for me. But more importantly, they were honest and upfront, quick to reply as well as meet my terms, and stuck to their word even while waiting for my Pilot to arrive from the factory, including matching a trade-in offer from elsewhere for my literal dead vehicle. To top it off, the time at the dealership to wrap up everything after the Pilot arrived was maybe an hour, so easy and practically painless with Jonathan. Oz and Seth definitely helped by having everything lined up with the numbers. And Ravi made sure the Pilot was inspected, washed and ready to go well before I arrived, so after completing everything it was only a return trip with my wife that evening to grab the key from him. I'm thoroughly pleased, and would wholeheartedly recommend these guys to anyone looking for a Honda in general, or a Pilot in particular. Way to go guys! More
