It would turn off sporadically then turn back on, and unfortunately it was off for our scheduled appointment. My husband waited THREE HOURS for them to "diagnose" the vehicle, only to have them tell us that their machine couldn't give enough information because the check engine light was off. As part of our warranty package, we are supposed to get a loaner rental while they service our car. This was never offered to my husband, which was frustrating because there were other things he could have been doing during that time. Additionally, after seeing him wait for that long, they should have offered him something, which sas been our experience at other dealerships. Maybe our standards are too high, but we've never sat for that long with no updates, an offer for a drink, or an offer for a loaner while they work on the car. A large reason we purchased our SRX was to get the same service that we've experienced at other luxury car dealerships (we own a Jaguar and an Acura as well). This dealership doesn't seem to offer this. For example, we were told before we purchased that complimentary car washes are included for the life of the vehicle. What we weren't told was that this was pending on who was at the dealership and how "busy" they were the day you want to come in. So far, my husband has had two car washes there, and both times he waited an HOUR AND A HALF. We know it's not going to happen quickly every time, but we have never had to wait over 20 minutes with having our vehicles washed at other dealerships. Additionally, one of the times the car was "washed," we still had to take it to a car wash because of the poor job they did on the wash. The other times he has tried to get the car washed, reasons they couldn't do it include: they were too "busy," (and asked to return the following WEEK), weather wasn't "nice" enough, and their car wash machine was broken. The check engine light came back on again yesterday, and we have an appointment today, hoping they can do something about it. We are really crossing our fingers that things get better from here. This is not what we signed up for when we purchased our vehicle. Although nothing majorly wrong has happened, nothing right has happened either. We are disappointed by the fact that the light has come on twice in two months of owning (when Certified vehicles should be as good as "new), and more importantly, with the less than mediocre treatment we have received from this "luxury" dealership. Maybe we should have gone with the Volvo we were looking it... something we will keep in mind for the next car. More

BUYER BEWARE! The Jim Coleman Infiniti Collision Center has provided horrible service in fixing my 2010 EX35. I have been rear-ended twice and both times I have taken the Vehicle to the Collision Center f has provided horrible service in fixing my 2010 EX35. I have been rear-ended twice and both times I have taken the Vehicle to the Collision Center for repairs. The first time, it took over three weeks for them to obtain a new muffler system. The second time, it has now taken over 3 months to fix rear-end damage. The vehicle has been returned to me at least 4 times after Mark Wolf (the manager) told me he had personally checked the vehicle and it met his standards for completion. On two occasions, the clear coat was chipped. On two occasions, I showed the service representative that the bumper panel was not alligned properly. The first time, nothing was done to remedy, only after the second time did they fix. The back interior trim panel was not (and still is not) installed correctly and they refuse to fix it. They gave me a car that was supposedly FINISHED and it was not road worthy. They installed the turn singals improperly so that when the left turn signal was turned on the left front turn light came on and the right back turn light came on (and vice versa). Unknowingly, I drove around with this problem for several weeks before it was brought to my attention. The interior door panel that was damaged in the collision, and shown to the service representative when the car was originally dropped off for repairs was not even looked at when the car was returned to me "inspected and completed." Because of this, I had to wait another 3 weeks for the part to be ordered and then installed. The back latch only works intermittently and on occasion does not close properly and prevents the door from shutting. The individuals that provided this horrible service were: Service Representatives - Mike Lee and Greg Bern; Manager of Jim Coleman Collision Center - Mark Wolf; Managaer of Jim Coleman Cadiallac - Don Curroso Only use this repair shop if you want the job done incorrectly, if you have a lot of time to double check and triple check their work, want to deal with unhelpful individuals and want to be completely dissatisfied and to receive repairs that are not done properly or correctly. Recently had my car in for service and I was overwhelmed by the great service I received. I had my car to another dealer for a noise but they were unable to fix it. I contacted Jim Coleman and got Dave on by the great service I received. I had my car to another dealer for a noise but they were unable to fix it. I contacted Jim Coleman and got Dave on the phone, he set-up an appointment for me and arranged a shuttle ride so I could get back to work. I dropped the car off on Monday morning and as arranged got a ride back to the metro in a limo!! Dave called me later that morning to inform that they had found the cause of the noise and that it needed timing chains. He informed me that although I was out of warranty he had spoken to his manager and they would perform the repair under warranty. I was thrilled! My car was ready that evening and I was picked up at the metro ( by limo) and taken back to the dealer. After paying for my other repairs I was thanked for my business and given a rose..wow!!! Limo ride and a rose and it wasn't even Valentine's Day. Jim Coleman Cadillac will be getting all my future service work and when I am ready to purchase a new car it will be my first stop. Thanks again Jim Coleman Cadillac!!! More

I had my car in at a local shop and they said I needed a new Idler pulley for my CTS. They said the part was not available until the following Monday. I asked them where they were getting the part from and new Idler pulley for my CTS. They said the part was not available until the following Monday. I asked them where they were getting the part from and they said Jim Coleman Cadillac. Well, I decided to call them myself and explain the situation. The man who answered had a very thick accent but was extremely polite and patient. I told him what I needed and that I needed it fast because my ailing daughter had an appointment with a specialist at Children's hospital the next day. He said he would see what he could do and get back to me. Not 7 minutes later he called back and said he used their parts locator to find the part locally and that they would pick up the part ASAP and deliver it to the independent shop where my car was! I almost broke into tears. An employee of this caliber should definitely be noticed and commeneded. I have never had a better experience or better results in the automotive industry. Thank you for your time and thank you, Pascal! More
One of the worst service departments of any dealership i've ever dealt with. Jim Coleman Cadillac located in Bethesda Maryland has the absolute rudest and most disrespectful staff ive ever encountered. No i've ever dealt with. Jim Coleman Cadillac located in Bethesda Maryland has the absolute rudest and most disrespectful staff ive ever encountered. Not just once, but many times i've seen the same behavior. The service advisor(who i will not list by name) is extremely rude, even the employees at the pay register/cashiers office are also rude and are extremely unknowledable, all they know is how to ring up a customer, but if you have a question they can never help you. I own an Escalade, they treat me like I own a Kia and they are a Rolls-Royce dealer. Entire staff should be fired and replaced with people that have a new goal, aiming at acheieving not only outstanding but at least decent customer satisfaction. Will now service my vehicle elsewhere.
