I went to this dealership with printouts from their website as well as cars.com and autotrader.com .of a new sonata 2013 limited. The price listed on all websites was MSRP $26,960 and SELIING PRICE $21 website as well as cars.com and autotrader.com .of a new sonata 2013 limited. The price listed on all websites was MSRP $26,960 and SELIING PRICE $21,468.00. When we got to the dealership they very rude sales guy explained that the car was around $29,000 . and to get my monthly payment I was going to have to spend 16,000 , that I couldn’t afford a 23,000 car!!! To get the internet price & to get that price we had to "qualify" for all the rebates. The Sales Guy was very argumentative RUDE, VERY Unprofessional. And I would not recommend this dealership to ANYONE. They Con people to come to the dealership only to price gouge you once you get there. WASTE OF MY TIME AND MY GAS DRIVING THERE. !!! We immediately left, after arguing with the sales guy, went to Tamron Hyundai and bought a BRAND NEW 2013 Sonata with the monthly payment I wanted and the sales people were actually NICE and helped achieve my goal in what I wanted to spend on a car!!! I hope this review helps you because if i would have read something like this before i went there it would have saved my time and $, which to me is alot! More
Worst experience ever. Called about a car that theyand had and drove down got there then was told it may have sold. They find it we go get it and drive it back to the main lot. Everything seemed fine. The had and drove down got there then was told it may have sold. They find it we go get it and drive it back to the main lot. Everything seemed fine. They had to clean it and fix the windshield and add 2 tires. Well we go back 4 days later and signed the papers. I have had it exactley two weeks and the transmission went out. Called them and they were blowing me off . Finally they called me and said they could put me in a car i couldnt afford and wasnt practical for my family. This has been 4 days ago now and they still havent tried to call me with other options. Never will my friends, family, or myself purchase a car from here again. More

We had a horrible experience from the numbers in the "deal" not being what we previously agreed on, to horrible "customer service" by everyone in the organization from the GM Evan Hill to the sales mana "deal" not being what we previously agreed on, to horrible "customer service" by everyone in the organization from the GM Evan Hill to the sales manager and the financing guy. Completely deceitful attitude and way of business. NO WAY could I ever recommend them to ANY ONE, not even my worst enemy! More

After sitting in the dealership for 2.5 hours, I finally test drove a white Nissan Rogue. I negotiated on the white car and DROVE IT HOME. On Monday I called my insurance agent and discovered that the mileage was wrong on my contract. I immediately went to Jim Burke and discovered that the VIN number was wrong my paperwork. The salesperson had written up the WRONG car. I was then told by the manager that I would have to put down an additional 1000 if I wanted the white car. They hen drive around and show me a beat up dinged up gray Rogue. To top it off the sales manager insults me and says I should be glad that anybody financed me (even though I came with financing). I take off a half a day the next day only to be ignored by the sales manager. he then continues to insult me and say that I should be glad they are dealing with me. I ask for my trade back and initially he says no. I finally call the finance company and they tell me the deal had just been funded (the sales manager probably pushed the paperwork through as I waited) and if I return the car (the wrong one) it could be considered a voluntary repossession. I have never had a car buying experience like this. People, do your homework. I don't care how bad your credit may be, you have options. More
Want to be treated like crap? Then give Jim Burke Nissan a call and ask to speak to Gary. My credit is banged up and I was upfront with the dealership about this from the moment I began talking to them. a call and ask to speak to Gary. My credit is banged up and I was upfront with the dealership about this from the moment I began talking to them. We finally were able to get a deal worked out, despite increasing the cost of the car from the advertised price, and Gary wanted me to give him my debit card number over the phone so he could hold the car. I refused and after several exchanges, Gary's words were: "From what I've seen (speaking in regards to my credit), someone would rather steal my debit card than yours". This is probably the only time I have heard a car dealer have something like that come out of their mouth. The sooner Jim Burke can implode, with the rest of downtown Birmingham, the better. If you have another option for buying a car, take it. More
Jim Burke Dodge is by far the epitome of deception and poor business practices. We found an ad online for a Dodge Journey priced at $19,218. In knowing that dealerships often use bait and switch tactics we called to verify the vin number of the vehicle we wanted and that it was still available. Once armed with the knowledge that the vehicle we wanted was still for sale we drove 1 1/2 hours to Jim Burke Dodge. Nothing was stated about the price until our offer came back. It had the price listed at $25,098. We were furious and when we questioned why the price was $6,000 above their ADVERTISED price they said that it was a mistake made by the online marketing guy and that they could never sell it that low. We haggled back and forth but they tried ripping us off through price, then with financing at 72 months. These guys are just crooks! They purposefully mislead people in with low "looking" prices and then absolutely will not honor their price. BEWARE!!! We specifically dealt with Mike Lindemood who of all people is their general manager! He of all people should have honored their misadvertised price. I do not believe it was a mistake at all. I believe that that is their common practice to get people in. Tonight we drove to Franklin, TN, and bought a 2012 Journey for more than $4,000 less than Jim Bourke, a much lower interest rate, and payments for only 60 months instead of the 72 months Jim Burke offered. I recommend the drive to Franklin, Tn, Dodge!!! They were the exact opposite of Jim Burke...professional, courteous, QUICK, and fair. More

When I inquired why the service writer told me that to keep free oil changes I had to purchase " extras" such as rotation, on the 4th visit it would be a fuel injection cleaner, rotation and balance, alignment. I know looking back I should have asked questions, but I didnt, MAKE SURE you do. Im now changing my own oil, and will use any other dealership for service except here. Also spoke to a mechanic who works there, and he informed me to stay away from the radiator flush/ clean. The chemicals used eat away at the radiator and cause problems, but its a money making deal so they keep it quiet. More

At first it is all good, I have contacted the dealer via email and they were responsive. The salesman start promising you a lot of things and sugar coat the deal via email to get you to come in to the deale email and they were responsive. The salesman start promising you a lot of things and sugar coat the deal via email to get you to come in to the dealership but then you'll be surprised that most of the things he promised were not true and they change the deal. when negotiating the price with the Manager Phil Yeager he denies salesman promises and when I told him my negotiation is based on what I researched on edmunds.com he start insulting the people who search on line and how stupid for them to do so!!!! I’m spending my money somewhere else. More
