Usually there is something broken or needing service. Having to visit the service department of your dealership is not generally a happy experience. Usually there is something broken or needing service. There is time spent in the waiting area, sometimes one has to receive unexpected bad news, delays in getting your vehicle serviced, parts needed to be ordered, and so forth...which makes for a unhappy experience. However, the service personnel at Jim Browne Citrus Chrysler-Jeep in Dade City repeatedly have made the experience as pleasant and painless as possible. I have used the Jim Browne Citrus Chrysler-Jeep service department in Dade City, Florida for many years, having purchased four new vehicles from the dealership, and returning for service on each of those vehicles. I have found that although returning for service is never a happy occasion, the service manager, and staff make the visit as pleasant and painless an experience as possible. This is what keeps me returning to Jim Browne Citrus Chrysler in Dade City, Florida. As an example, this past week my "Check Engine" light illuminated. Upon performing a DIAGNOSTIC TEST we learned I needed to have the vehicle serviced. I was given an appointment for service and dropped off the vehicle at the dealership the next day. Upon inspection by the service technician it was learned parts needed to be ordered, and it would be after the weekend before the parts arrived. I needed transportation for the weekend to travel on a trip I had planned for many months. The service adviser, Shane Tofthagen, was amazing. He arranged a rental car for my use while waiting the repairs to be completed. The rental car agency worked in cooperation with the dealership and supplied me a loaner to use over the weekend. Monday arrived, and so did the parts. The repairs were done efficiently, I returned the rental car, and the entire process was seamless. This is what I call a pleasant experience, with minimal inconvenience. And this is what I call "Exceptional Service" I wish to thank Shane Tofthagen, my service adviser, and David Faro, the service technician for an exemplary job well done. 2nd Vehicle Purchase Awesome experience that was better than the 1st time. We worked with Aaron Skinner who helped us our vehicle, we test drove about 5 vehicles and he wa Awesome experience that was better than the 1st time. TJ worked the numbers to ensure we would be able to get the vehicle we wanted. Kevin in finance was hilarious and got us a great rate on our loan. The guys in the detailing department made our vehicle look great inside and out, and the service department put in a new battery because the old one was not holding a charge. From start to finish we spent about 4 hours at the dealership, everyone was so nice, Dale Allison talked to us making even making sure we were happy with our decision, the big boss Jim Browne was there as well. We laughed a lot because everyone was happy and made this a great experience again. More

An honest dealer In 2002 I purchased a Town & Country from a well known dealer (Dealer "X"). In 2004 I traded that vehicle at dealer "X" for a 2005 Town & Country. I In 2002 I purchased a Town & Country from a well known dealer (Dealer "X"). In 2004 I traded that vehicle at dealer "X" for a 2005 Town & Country. I owned the second vehicle for 11 1/2 years and decided to trade that in for a 2016 Town & Country. Dealer "X" supplied an internet price and asked me to come to the dealership. Upon my arrival there, they took over an hour locating the vehicle so that I could road test it. That was the first faux pas. Prior to the road test I could not get the dealer to commit to a trade-in price for my van which had only 65,000 miles, had been regularly serviced, and I had the proof of same. I took the road test, liked the vehicle, and decided to make the purchase, but insisted on an answer for a trade-in price (which was $1,900.00). When it came to the final price, without sales tax, etc., the dealer wanted several thousand dollars more than the internet price which included the credit for a trade-in. I made my unhappiness known and the sales manager then came in on the negotiation. At that point he made excuses why the internet price was not the price they were going to sell the vehicle for. Second faux pas! I walked out, refusing to make the purchase. Having seen an ad on television for Citrus Chrysler in which Jim Browne tells viewers that he warranties the drive train for life, I made an inquiry and was given an internet price. My wife and I drove there for a road test. The vehicle in question was there waiting for us. I decided not to trade in my 2005, but to pass it along to a family member. When the road test concluded and it was time for the sale, I prepared myself for a switcheroo price like dealer "X" did. What a shock when I was told that the internet price, as quoted, was the price of the vehicle. Finally I found an honest dealer. We sealed the deal. I expected that we would return the next day or so to pick the vehicle up. Not so! Everyone at the dealership bent over backwards to see to it that I drove the vehicle home. It was nice to find out that Citrus Chrysler sold me the vehicle I wanted for less money than dealer "X" and I still had my 2005 van. Since the purchase, I have been contacted several times by personnel of Citrus Chrysler to make sure that I was a satisfied custom and happy with my purchase. When people ask me about my new vehicle I relate how dealer "X" treated me and how I was treated at Citrus Chrysler. Too bad I wasn't aware of them a long time ago. More
