Service manager John Whittaker confirms that the vehicle in question was purchased from a Tampa dealer, which is solely responsible for tinting its windows. As of this date, Jim Browne Chrylser Jeep Dodge Ram of Dade City has yet to perform any service on this vehicle whatsoever. Your response is demonstrably false and further undermines the credibility of your dealership. On 01/21/2026 at 9:08 AM, I received a text message from your dealership stating my vehicle was not ready for pickup. Shortly thereafter, I was informed it was ready, and I was placed into a rental vehicle. Those documented communications directly contradict the claim that “no service was performed” on my vehicle. I have written proof of your dealership taking possession of, inspecting, and processing my vehicle. Additionally, your attempt to shift responsibility to the Tampa dealership is misleading. If you review my original complaint, you will see that the concerns stem from how your location handled my vehicle — including dismissing legitimate electrical concerns, downgrading safety issues, and attributing faults to me rather than performing proper diagnostics. Within one week of leaving your dealership, I brought the vehicle to the Tampa location. They confirmed the vehicle required a software update and a proxy alignment — directly contradicting your staff’s claim that the vehicle was “normal.” The continued inconsistencies and now false statements in your public response are deeply concerning. Instead of addressing the documented issues, your dealership has chosen to deny involvement despite clear evidence to the contrary. This pattern of behavior only reinforces the loss of trust that led to this complaint in the first place. I am requesting an accurate correction of your public statement and proper accountability moving forward.
