Purchased a used 2006 Silverado 2500HD My Sales associate Ryan was a great help in finding me a used vehicle that I was looking for. The problem was when I looked the truck over, I pointed My Sales associate Ryan was a great help in finding me a used vehicle that I was looking for. The problem was when I looked the truck over, I pointed out a few issues with the truck.. The main issue was the paint was peeling from the bed. I was informed that they were going to place a bed liner in it. I didn't want a bed liner so I asked if they would have it Rino Lined instead. The bed liner was going to be free but to have in Rino Lined, I had to pay and extra $500 which I didn't see was fair.. The second issue was there were 2 paint locations that were peeling and I asked for that to be repaired before further damage happen. They were not going to repair unless I paid. 3 days after receiving the truck, the paint peeled off the hood and the left side of the truck after it rained. Not what you want to see after spending $25000 on a truck and have mentioned to the dealer to have it repaired. The third was when I was signing the contract, they tried to sell me a Contract Cancelation Option Agreement. This Contract is pretty useless the way California wrote it. So now 3 days after receiving my truck, it is sitting in a body shop getting painted. Cost of around $650 for the hood, left rear pillar and left rear roof top. I contacted my sales associate and he said he would talk to his manager about helping out with the cost of repairs since I originally requested it. I have not heard back from the sales representative. He stopped responding to me. I eventually got ahold of the sales manager "James Isbell" who I was willing to work out a solution with me. He was very polite and wanted to make me happy with my truck. We came up with a workable solution that made me happy. More
My experience with service at Jessup has always been great I purchased a 2009 Hybrid Escalade when it was brand new. I live in Long Beach but have a home in Palm Springs. I prefer to have my cars serviced at J I purchased a 2009 Hybrid Escalade when it was brand new. I live in Long Beach but have a home in Palm Springs. I prefer to have my cars serviced at Jessup in Palm Springs 120 miles from my main residence because of the great customer service and helpful attitude. My 2009 Hybrid Escalade was the first year of the Escalade Hybrid. The first 80,000 miles I didn't have a problem. After 80,000 miles some problems arose. The Hybrid system was covered under warranty but not all of the other parts were. Jessup knew these were related to the Hybrid system and worked out a special warranty to pay for the parts. Because of Jessup I purchased a brand new 2015 Escalade. This one is not a Hybrid but I knew it would be serviced correctly at Jessup. Here is a situation that I stayed with the Cadillac brand because of the dealership. What more can be said for loyalty. It works both ways. More
