I know each person's experience is different. I made a service appointment for 6:30pm today after I noticed my tire pressure light stayed on and wouldn't go off when I left for work this morning. I arrived at the dealership to have my car serviced around 6:20pm. The service advisor was Ms. Jennifer Standish who wrote up my ticket. After sometime went by Jennifer came to tell me that the rear passenger side tire was unrepairable due to some large pieces of metal in the tire. Luckily for me they had the tire in stock. She informed me that the tire would cost me about $290 to replace. In turn I informed her that I purchased the road hazard protection through Jerry's from a company called MAG when I brought the vehicle. Why she didn't already know this beats me! After she verified my information with Ethan from finance she told me that she attempted to call MAG but their hours of operation are only from 9 to 5. So, because MAG was closed she told me that I would have to wait until tomorrow before she could process my claim. My other option was to pay out of pocket and wait to be reimbursed. Not one to take what someone tells me at face value I attempted to call the number myself just for my own verification while she was standing right next to me and they were closed just like she said. As I was ending the call with MAG Ms. Standish started to walk away as I called out to her to inform what I was going to do. Needless to say she ignored me perhaps perturbed at the fact I didn't take her word that MAG was closed. Seeing that she was perturbed with me over the fact that I didn't take her word about MAG I wasn't going to chase her down after-all I was the only customer in the service area at that time so there's no question that she heard me calling her. I was then referred to Ethan in finance whose department was originally responsible for selling me the road hazard protection warranty back when I brought the vehicle. I explained the situation to him and how I thought it was ridiculous that my only two options were to bring back the car in the morning during MAG's business hours or pay out of pocket and wait to be reimbursed. Being that this is the primary vehicle for my wife and kids I opted to do the safest things which was to pay out of pocket and wait to be reimbursed. I'm disappointed that Ms. Standish treated me the way she did. But, I'm most disappointed with the fact that my claim couldn't be processed because of MAG's business hours. Afterall, why should I have to put out my own money when I have a warranty and Jerry's Toyota knows I have a warranty but they won't process the claim themselves knowing full well that this claim is admissible and not to mention they have a pre-exisiting relationship with this vendor they introduced me too. All I'm saying overall is that Jerry's may be a great place to get a vehicle but trying to get them to honor a warranty is a hassle. Oh, and by the way after everything was said and done I finally left the dealer at 8:45pm tonight. Don't go to Jerry's because they'll give you the run around when it comes to honoring warranties. I went in to get an oil change and the customer service was exceptional and very helpful. My service advisor was Sheena and she was timely and assisted me through the process. I have to say that my experience buying a 2010 Toyota Camry last month was very positive. Fred Knott was an easy going guy; he made the car buying process about as stress-free as possible. Purchased a 2011 Corolla that needed to have a remote start start installed at my request. Both Dave's went out of their way to get me the best price and financing. I love coming to Jerry's because of the efficient service. Sheena makes me feel welcome and takes all the information on my car in order to provide me the best service. It's seems just a little time has passed and Sheena is there to let me know my car is ready. Sheena's efficient demeanor in getting the job done keeps me from being anxious. The waiting room for the customers is cleaned and packed with free coffee and tea and other snacks. A large screen tv provides diversion while we wait. The atmosphere is perfect. Thanks also to the mechanics and other service providers at Jerry's for making my experience perfect each time I come. Sheena keeps me coming back for service... Go Sheena. More
We had a very pleasant experience with them. We initially bought a Coralla from them and we had such a good experience, we went back and bought our Camry. Absolutely one of THE WORST car buying experiences I have ever had. Since I was out of state, I attempted to obtain additional information that was unavailable on their website inventory about a vehicle I w ever had. Despite providing detailed specifications about the vehicle in which I was interested on numerous occasions, I never received one meaningful reply. . . although I did receive periodic emails from the salesman and General Manager asking me about the type of vehicle in which I was interested and telling me "It's all about (me) at Jerry's!" I accomplished more in 6 hours via email with another dealership (actually closed the deal)than I have in twelve days with this dealership (still have not figured out the specifications of the vehicle I wanted). I'm sure their business model works for some customers, but it CERTAINLY DID NOT WORK FOR ME! More

Working with Jerry's Toyota for the purchase of my new vehicle was an excellent experience for me, as a first time car buyer. Before coming to Jerry's, I met with Cory at Russel Toyota. I found Russel to vehicle was an excellent experience for me, as a first time car buyer. Before coming to Jerry's, I met with Cory at Russel Toyota. I found Russel to be unfriendly, inflexible and disrespectful to me as a buyer. Furthermore, their offer was the highest quote I received and they didn't even consider my trade in. Russel’s ridiculous offer left no room for negotiation. As such, I walked out without anyone noticing or caring that I left, making it clear to me that they did not want or need my business. It was then that I came to Jerry's and met with Frank Casey who accompanied me on a test drive before sitting down with me at the negotiating table. I couldn't have been at the dealership for more than 2 hours total (including the initial meet and greet and test drive) before Frank was able to give us his best deal, bottom line, on the spot. Since this was only my first day looking, I decided to continue shopping around. First, I sent Frank’s quote back to Cory at Russel, who was again, very rude and replied "I would definitely go buy that car if they have you at [Jerry's quote price]. We are nowhere near that number." Since it was the end of the month, other area dealers swore they could beat the price, but upon meeting them face to face at the negotiating table, none were able to meet or beat the offer provided to us by Jerry’s. We spoke with nearly every dealer Toyota dealer in the greater Baltimore area and in an attempt to earn our business, many made false claims that Jerry's offer must contain hidden fees that would be added in later when it came time to sign the final papers. This was simply not the case. Frank at Jerry’s Toyota was able to give me the lowest, most straight-forward quote while maintaining friendly professionalism throughout the low-hassle negotiation process. Once I selected Jerry’s for my final purchase, I found the signing process to be relatively quick, hassle-free, and most importantly, I found no surprises on the final price tag. I would definitely recommend making Jerry's a first (and last) stop in your search for a new Toyota. More
A little back story on myself before I get into my experience at the dealership. I recently came out of bankruptcy, and was discharged on April 4th, 2011. Needless to say, I was a little nervous comin experience at the dealership. I recently came out of bankruptcy, and was discharged on April 4th, 2011. Needless to say, I was a little nervous coming into a dealership, due to the hunch that I would be judged and immediately dismissed. I walked onto the Jerry's Toyota lot on April 21st, 2011, and was greeted by Mr. Tim Curran. I immediately told him my situation, where I was trying to be at, what I was planning on putting down, and that I would indeed have a co-signer. I also told him that I saw a 2007 Sentra online, and that I was interested in purchasing the vehicle. There was on problem though, there is an inspection and reconditioning fee that would have put the purchase price of the vehicle out of my range. I was told that they could waive the fee for me so that it would stay within the budget that I had made for myself, since I didn't want to fall into the same trap I fell into before by getting more car than I could afford. He offered to let me take a test drive, and I declined simply because my co-signer wasn't there, and would probably want to test drive with me. Not a problem, he handed me his card when I said I was going to head out and discuss the vehicle with my father. He said he would give me a call if the vehicle sold before I returned. Later that night I returned with my father, and we both took the vehicle for a test drive. He didn't even insist to be in the car, he put a dealer tag on the back of the vehicle, and let us take it on a test drive. We got back, noticed a few little things with the vehicle, the biggest one being the passenger seat was stuck and wouldn't adjust forward or back, and we were assured the problem would be taken care of by the time we took delivery. We filled out the credit applications, and since it was so late at night, we went home. The next day I get a call from Tim, 6.4% interest rate from the bank, and to come up that night to fill out the paperwork. We get up there about 5:30 P.M. and the car is waiting right in front of the building for us. We go in, do our paperwork, and everything is done and finished within a matter of an hour. I couldn't have asked for a better experience at Jerry's, especially considering the situation I was in, and that I needed to be at a certain price point. Tim didn't try to pressure me into a car that was out of my range, didn't try to sell sell sell extra services and warranties. From start to finish it was the best vehicle buying experience I've had, especially for someone who just came out of bankruptcy. If you get the opportunity, buy from Jerry's, you won't regret it. More
