Such a great experience I want to do it again! I took my used Jetta into Jennings last week for a routine oil change and left with a new leased beetle - the car of my dreams! I cannot begin to express how amazing this experience was! What started as another monotonous experience at the dealership turned into a new begining for me! I was referred to David when I curiously inquired about trading my beloved Jetta. David was honest, educational, and understanding. He took time to teach me about my options and not try and push me toward a decision! Mike was brought in to talk finances - a scary subject in itself- which turned out to be more helpful than frightening. Mike was genuine, efficient, and worked hard to work a lease that I could afford! My parents loved the experience as well, and love even more that they don't have to worry about me when I drive, because we were taken care of so well. It was such a blessing to meet these gentlemen and it couldn't have come at a more perfect time! I could write on and on but you really just have to go in and experience it yourself. More
I bought car in for the 10k service. As part of the service, I mentioned during highway driving that the wind noise was loud. After a few visits(waiting for parts), the wind noise subsided. However, service, I mentioned during highway driving that the wind noise was loud. After a few visits(waiting for parts), the wind noise subsided. However, now the seat belt makes screeching noise. The driver door is not properly aligned. You have to put a little more effort to close the door. Another thing I noticed this summer is it gets a little too warm down the pedals. Passenger side is fine. I also noticed an 'X' is sketched inside of the driver door. More
My airbag light was on, so I went to Jennings to check it out. They charged me about $130 for diagnosis and came out with an astonishing conclusion: an internal short of the LF airbag and asked for more than out. They charged me about $130 for diagnosis and came out with an astonishing conclusion: an internal short of the LF airbag and asked for more than $800 to fix it. I just couldn’t believe the number. I shopped around and have a free diagnosis with mechanics at Dub Werks in Libertyville today. They found out the airbag light was simply caused by a loosen connector and fixed it for me only for $40. I have nothing to say about Jennings…… I never write reviews before, but this time, I am looking for all dealer rating forums and paste my experience By the way, if you are looking for alternative solution for your VW, try this out http://www.roadhaus.com/shops_search_map.php?state_id=13 Do do some research before pulling out your card More
sales man was really nice and did not put a lot of pressure on me to buy. Service on the other had, horrible. Taking my CPO car for the fourth time to get the same problem fixed. They obviously don pressure on me to buy. Service on the other had, horrible. Taking my CPO car for the fourth time to get the same problem fixed. They obviously don't have people who really know how to fix these cars. I'm seriously thinking of going to a different automaker. More
Service managers are arrogant and rude. How hard is it to have a positive attitude with a customer. Asked specifically NOT to wash car several times and the rep claimed i said otherwise.
