I have been a loyal Jennings VW customer since 1996 and have never had a bad experience there, whether it be with sales, financing, or service. Everyone here seems very genuine and there is never a hint of that "Creepy car salesman vibe" that you get from other dealerships. I was referred to Jennings VW by a co-worker of mine who has purchased/leased 5+ vehicles from this specific dealership. I did my homework, decided what I wanted and reached out to the contact that my co-wo has purchased/leased 5+ vehicles from this specific dealership. I sent him an email identifying who I was, what I wanted, and how I wanted to be treated. I could not have asked for a more professional and comforting response. I promptly received an email back (not an annoying immediate phone call) requesting that I come in and speak with him. I jumped on the opportunity. Upon walking in, Arek greeted me warmly, sat me down, and simply listened to me. I reiterated what I wanted, explained my financial situation, and went for a ride. After we returned, Arek did not pressure me into sticking around, but told me that he would go to bat for me and then get back to me with the results. I met Andrew on the way out as he would be who I would end up working with on the numbers side. A few hours later I received a very positive and up-beat phone message from Arek indicating he had good news. There's nothing more re-assuring than hearing "I think you're really going to be happy with what we are able to do". I considering my options over the weekend, and the more I thought about it, the less I wanted to look anywhere else. My comfort level was right where I wanted it to be and I was anxious to hear what Arek had for me. Monday evening I returned to Jennings to talk things over with Andrew. When I arrived, the car Arek had picked out for me was all shiny, clean, and sitting in the garage waiting for me. I went back, sat down with Andrew, and less than 30 minutes later I was proudly shaking his hand to seal the deal. I have bad credit. I know I have bad credit. I established that from the get-go. Andrew and Jennings VW made it possible for me to drive off last night in a beautiful brand new 2013 Tiguan SE. I received exactly what I wanted for my trade in, had a nice initial discount from Andrew, threw in auto show bonus cash, and walked out putting down what I wanted at a comfortable lease rate. Even finalizing the deal with Paula at the end of the evening was a pleasurable experience. Her up-beat sense of humor and warm personality made me feel like I was doing the right thing while I was signing off on everything. First, I do not see myself ever buying anything but a VW ever again. Second as long as Ken Lyons is Sales Manager at Jennings VW I will never go anywhere else. Ken Lyons is an honest man that treats people with respect. Ken does not plays the "Car Games" that are too often used in the industry. Ken understands that the consumer is now typically knowledgable because of the internet.
