I am from Green Bay, WI, so visiting and buying a car from Jennings Volkswagen was a bit of a stretch, as the dealership is approximately 200 miles from my home. However, I was looking for a particular configuration of Beetle and I found it on the Jennings website. My first contact with the dealership was through Erin Hickey, Internet Sales Manager. She was able to get me an "out the door" price within about 5 minutes of my initial contact with her and it was substantially less than a quote on a similar vehicle at a local dealership. We committed to the car immediately and arranged to take delivery of it the next week. Erin came in on her day off to introduce us to Eric Breitenbach, our sales contact. Eric put together the final details of our deal and then brought me up to speed on all the features of my new Beetle. Like Erin, he was extremely friendly, helpful, and a true delight to work with. The two of them did some very special things for us as we took delivery of our car, WAY above and beyond what I had expected and hoped for. Let me just copy the e-mail I sent to them this morning, just shy of 24 hours after we drove away in our new Beetle: Eric and Erin, THANK YOU is so inadequate to express all my thoughts and feelings about the experience you put together for Bob and me, but it's at least a start. You went so far above and beyond my hopes and expectations that I can't even begin to put into words what a gift you have been to us in this whole car-buying process. MATZ MOM is eternally grateful! Our ride home was a blast, trying out all the new features of our sound system (I was driving, Bob was pushing the buttons, it was all very safe). Ended up with 44.7 miles per gallon, which was not as good as Bob gets in his Passat, so he was very pleased...still the alpha man! I hope with all my heart that someone someday does something as awesome for you as you have done for me. I wish you were closer because I would refer EVERYONE I know to you for all their car needs! Nathan Solt is extremely knowledgeable and is NOT manipulative in his sales approach. I drove from central IL to Chicago to buy & I despise traffic.
