Steve Tinkler was very helpful and went out his way to smooth the buying process. Steve had me test drive a number of cars to help me make up my mind on which model would satisfy me. Then Steve worked to hard to optimize the time to complete the sales process. After the sale he sat in the car with me to teach and familiarize me with different functions so I would derive more benefits of different aspects of my new car. Later a couple of days late Steve proved what kind of salesman he is. I missed how to remotely start my auto. Steve informed me about how long I had to activate the engine remotely and how to turn it off. Steve stayed on the phone with me through a test procedure. He went the extra mile. I would recommend Steve since he cares about his clients and stops to take time to help them after the sale. More

I worked with Abu Badar while purchasing a used Jeep at Jennings Chevrolet. At first I was less than impressed. The first time I looked at the vehicle, it was dirty on the inside, had a tear in the seat Jennings Chevrolet. At first I was less than impressed. The first time I looked at the vehicle, it was dirty on the inside, had a tear in the seat and didn't start. When I came back late on a Saturday, Abu had the vehicle detailed and it looked terrific. Abu and his sales manager stayed late to negotiate a deal which was complete about a half hour after closing time. The transaction took a sour note on Sunday, when the Jeep didn't start. It was determined the battery was bad and needed to be replaced. Monday I called Abu and told him what happened. He immediately apologized and told me to send him the bill. There was no argument or run-around with him and he did what was justified. As part of the sales terms, I returned later in the week to have the leather fixed at no charge. While Abu was busy with another customer, he made a point to come talk to me, and apologize again for the battery while I waited for the repair. I was very satisfied how Abu handled everything and the leather turned out terrific like he promised. There were many ways this situation could have been handled and I think Abu handled it in the best possible way for his customer. While I wasn't pleased I had to go through all of this, I am happy that everything turned out well and I am still satisfied. More

We was very straightforward and respectful with him. I went to Chris to purchase my Camaro SS, and he brought the car in for me, at the right price. The finance manager was also a straight shooter and friendly. This was probably my best car buying experience. I have bought 4 different cars in the past 6 years, and my experience with Jennings was the best by far. I highly recommend Jennings and Chris Mader. More

This past Saturday, my wife, daughter and I set out to find my daughter Victoria a late model used car. We intended to buy her a Mitsubishi Eclipse from a leasing company in the area, but were not satisfi find my daughter Victoria a late model used car. We intended to buy her a Mitsubishi Eclipse from a leasing company in the area, but were not satisfied with the way the vehicle looked and decided to drive around the area and look in the many dealerships along Waukegan Rd. Our first two stops at major dealers yielded "pushy" salemen who weren't listening to what we wanted and were simply trying to make a deal with what inventory they had. Our last stop before calling it quits for the day, and we almost decided not to stop, was at Jennings Chevrolet and I am glad we made the stop. The used car salesman who came out to greet us was Dan, wish I new his last name, and he was friendly, listened to what we were shopping for and steered us in the direction of a few cars that fell into the type / price range that we were looking for. The best part was he wasn't pushy and didn't shadow our every step. We narrowed down the field to two cars and Dan helped explain the pros / cons of each and we settled on a 2009 red Aveo that my daughter loves. The price we paid for the car was within the Kelley Blue Book value range, so we got a good deal. The one negative of this experience was the amount of time it took to see a finance agent. We waited well over a hour for one and Dan certainly did his best to ease the "pain" of waiting, bringing us freshly popped corn and bottled water. All things considered, my daughter is happy and I would definitiely recommend Dan at Jennings Chevrolet to any of my friends looking to purchase a late model used car. More
I went to Jennings Chevrolet to look at a used 2004 Volkgswagen Passat wagon with low mileage. I had called ahead earlier in the day and they put the car on hold for me, which I appreciated. Everyone was very friendly, but not pushy, from the moment I walked in. The dealer I worked with, Dan Nozari was nice, friendly and didn't put any pressure on me at all. We went for a test drive, and he talked about different positive aspects of the car as we chatted, but mostly let the car sell itself. When we got back, he, his manager Andy Sweiss and I negotiated what I thought was a fair price based on all of my research on Kelley Blue Book and Edmunds.com. I have never owned a Volkswagen before, so I went home to do more research on that particular model and think about it, and there was absolutely no pressure of last-minute attempts to buy the car immediately, which I appreciated, we all left on very friendly terms. I did the research when I got home, decided the car was a great deal, and I called back the next morning to put a deposit on it. They even checked on the two recalls in that models history for me, and the two "common problems" with that model that I had read about. Everything was very easy and completely hassle-free. I've only had the car for a little under a week, but assuming there are no problems with the car in the next few months I would have no problem highly recommending this dealer, I had a great experience.
