At the end of the day being treated like an adult, honestly, courteously and respectfully, does more to win me over than will the lowest price on the block. Actually we were not totally sure of the car we wanted, being a Mercedes on their used Chevy/VW lot. They offered to let us take it to a dealership or to our own mechanic to check out. No trying to convince us with baloney; we self-sold. Plus our daughter had been having her car serviced at the VW shop and was always treated right. No dickering on the trade in either - but they did come up a bit to help make the deal, and did agree to take care of some visually bothersome things. All in all a pretty seamless and honorable experience. More

My experience purchasing a new vehicle from Jennings Chevrolet was an excellent one. I felt that the sales (Dominick) and financial (Bob) gentlemen I dealt with were helpful, pleasant, and low-key. They completely respected my agenda and never pressured me. I basically loath purchasing cars and rank it with getting dental work in my list of desirable life experiences. This experience, in contrast, was a pleasant one. Dominick did a fantastic job teaching me the relatively complicated electronics system on my new Volt A day before shopping at Jennings I was at Grossinger Toyota looking at the Prius. This was an incredibly unpleasant experience which fit all of my negative stereotypes of a car dealership in an almost comic way. Ultimately it was the strength of the car that swayed me to purchase the Volt, but I doubt I would set foot in Grossinger again even if I opted for a Prius. They had an attitude that they did not want me to leave the premise without purchasing that day. This wasted my time, and irritated me. More

I bought my first "not German" car from Jerry at Jennings which is pretty tough when you are German but Jerry did a fantastic job from start to finish. He was even great with our dog that came with us ....since he had to approve the trunk where he's going to sit now.
