Jennings Chevrolet and Volkswagen in Glenview has friendly and honest employees. The salesman that helped me was Jerry Perberg. He was friendly, straight forward, and honest. Those are qualities that I believe are hard to find in a car salesman. I do not enjoy shopping for a car because I don't like dealing with the employees at dealerships. But, Jerry and the rest of the Jennings staff made it painless and might I say, enjoyable. I would recommend anyone to Jennings Chevrolet & Volkswagen if they want a pleasant car shopping experience with friendly and HONEST salesmen. Finally, I would like to add that I had forgotten my garage door opener in my car that I had traded in. So, when I realized this I called Jerry right away and he mailed it out to me and I received it the next day. That is what I call customer service!! More
From the moment I walked into the dealership Jerry made me feel at ease. Unlike several of the other salesman I spoke to at other dealerships, Jerry didn't make me feel pressured at all. I never felt as though he was trying to sell me on a car or a price range. Jerry served as a facilitator of my purchase as opposed to a pusher of a product-- it was a welcome change in experience and expectations. After agreeing on the price and purchase, I spoke with the dealership's finance representative, Bob DiCiccio. I have a low credit score, and at other dealerships finance reps have been brisk and quick to make me feel like a 2nd tier customer. Bob's understanding and eagerness to work with me and make me feel comfortable was yet another welcome experience. Overall the staff at Jennings appears both competent and kind, and in no way out to push, pressure or hassle potential customers. I would recommend this dealership to anyone and these sales/ finance reps in particular. More

My husband found our car at Jennings Chevy. He worked with Fuad, who was friendly and accommodating. The process of purchasing our vehicle was an easy one. The lease in my present car was expiring in January of 2013. I began looking at cars I was interested in and wanted to test drive before my lease was up. One of the cars I was interested in (there were several different manufacturers) was a Chevy Sonic, or possibly the Spark. Alan Stern was the salesman who initially worked with me. From the beginning I appreciated his thoroghness in talking about the features of the car, knowing that I was not ready to make a decision. I test drove two cars that day and Alan was helpful and courteous. I test drove some ohter models from other manufactures, and did not always appreciate the other salesmen at the other dealers approach or style. Alan kept in touch in a helpful way. I never felt pressured. But in a professional way, gauged my level of interest. I ended up extending my lease a few months, came back to Jennings and Alan again was with me when I drove the cars again. I expanded my lease even more and just a week ago came back to look one more time at the Sonic. Alan contacted me that a lease promotion was going on, knowing that I really wanted to lease. In other words, this was a year since we started working together. He was always very patience and always very pleasant to work with. I apprecaited his knowledge of the product too. He went out of this way to take me to the dealer's lot to test drive yet another verison of the Sonic. After a few different test drives, and with John Schmidt, the finance manger, putting the numbers together, I was sold. I'm happy as a clam with my new Sonic RS. Alan really went out of his way providing great customer service. He drove the car to my house when I had to deal with my other car, and I just met with him today to go over all the little details of the car and he synced up my phone etc. I didn't have time to go through that at the time of the sale, so Alan made extra time for me. I was also impressed with the atmosphere at Jennings, and the staff were friendly. Deciding on a car is not easy usually, and Alan and Jennings made it a very pleasant experience. More
