I wanted to buy a domestic stick shift hatchback style and was considering the Chevy Sonic and Ford Focus after doing research online. I got connected with Jennings and Zaia Rasho when I submitted an interest in learning more about end of March deals. Speaking with Zaia was immediately helpful as he had a 2013 Sonic manual trans that he promised would fit my criteria. After going to the dealer and meeting Zaia in person, we had a very open and honest discussion regarding the advantages of buying a car...new v.s. certified preowned. It really was the no-nonsense education that Zaia passed on to me that got me hooked on the '13 Sonic LT (model up from the LS). Add to that some amazing protection via an extended bumper to bumper warranty and Environmental Package to protect my car (either as a long term owner or from an investment perspective) and we were poised to do business. Without the need to haggle we arrived at a price that other dealers simply couldn't match (Anderson Chevrolet, the Chevy Exchange) and I am now the proud owner of a brand spankin' new black on black 2013 Sonic LT that is protected inside and out (and has reinvigorated my love of driving). I may have even made a new friend in the process :) Highest praise to Zaia Rasho and his manager Andy...really a great experience and a Dealership and Salesman I would recommend highly to anyone!! Chris did a really nice job of answering all our questions. He was busy at first, but then devoted his time to us. Before going to Jennings Chevrolet I went to a couple other dealerships and had an awful experience. I was so fed up but then noticed that a co-worker of mine had license plates from Jennings. I decide other dealerships and had an awful experience. I was so fed up but then noticed that a co-worker of mine had license plates from Jennings. I decided to give them a shot and I am thankful I did. I called ahead of time about a Chevy Equinox that I was interested in and they went out of their way to search the lot and make sure it was there so that I didn't have to make the long drive for nothing. Once I arrived, I was welcomed by the entire staff and asked if I wanted water or coffee. That itself was more than any of the other dealerships offered me so we were off to a good start. I met with Jerry Perberg who took me on a test drive and was extremely friendly. He small talked about where I was from and what school I graduated from which was nice because he wasn't all about just making a sale but instead made me feel like I was talking to any regular person and not just some dealer. He then answered any questions about the car that I had and told me a few things that I didn't learn from the other dealerships. He didn't feed me any lies or garbage and didn't insult any of the competition in order to make Chevy look better. He had a lot of knowledge about the previous owner of the vehicle which made me real comfortable knowing exactly where it came from being a used truck. After all the negotiating and number crunching we agreed on a deal and what stuck out the most is that he told me there was a scratch on the back that he noticed. I never even noticed this and yet after I agreed to the deal he pointed it out and wanted to schedule a day the following week to get that fixed. It caught me offguard in a good way and made me real happy to know I purchased a car from a man who could have easily sent me on my way with a scratched up vehicle but instead wanted to make sure I knew. The car has been great and I called Jerry today to schedule an appointment to get the scratch fixed. He missed the call due to being in a meeting but no more than 10-15 minutes later called me back right away. I am so happy I noticed that co-worker's license plate and would 100% send anybody I knew to Jerry Perberg for their next vehicle. As a matter of fact my mom has already said that she is going to visit Jennings Chevrolet once she is ready to purchase her next car. A big thanks to Jenning Chevrolet and Jerry Perberg! More
Where can I start purchased a used vehicle from Jennings Chevrolet didn't know I would go through such a horrid experience. The vehicle had several problems with a service engine soon light, they had cooperated to bring the vehicle back to correct the matter. Upon that I was issued a rental vehicle which at the time I was thankful for. I receive change in dates on when the part was coming and got the run around from the service rep Christina. From I was told they were waiting for the dealership to get the part. (Which the shop was a Midas.). Upon the finish of my job I had dropped the rental off in perfect condition upon picking up my vehicle. To get a phone call the next day to be held responsible for damage on a rental that clearly a porter sustained upon the retrieval of the vehicle. My vehicle got returned to me with a rattle which then after takes about 7 visits to this dealership for them to give me a run around all the way til the last time when the mechanic lies to my face and says "it's a performance exhaust" so questioned the service advisor to find that the vehicle was serviced at a Midas. There's another lie I got from them as well. So I found out what Midas to take it in the guy there found a catalytic converter the promised to repair was avoided. So I contacted the service writer after all the situations these inconsiderate people put me through. To have her state she needs to get approval (another run around) after all this again took matters in my own hands left a voicemail to the manager whom she was waiting for to call me directly. When he did he stated they did enough to the vehicle and they won't cover a problem that existed after I got my car back from them. Now I'm suffering with paying 800 for a rental car I didn't damage. I would highly not recommend this dealership at all. Thank you for trusting you with purchasing a vehicle that will lead me to such a burden. All could've been avoided if such customer loyalty existed. More
